Clearly, if there are haters, they are heavily outnumbered here. They are the minority. Lyrically, I personally think this is one, if not the best track Alesso has ever released, definitely my new number 1 Alesso song so far! ...not to mention the fact that Liam, who is one of the most outstanding vocalist of his generation, sang it. He gets hate for two reasons. The first being that he doesn’t write/produce any of his music. He just takes other people’s songs and does vocals. Secondly, he doesn’t come off as a genuine guy. It always looks like he’s trying to be something he’s not.
Let me say that I think he’s got good vocals and writing abilities from his 1D days. He just needs to be himself and stop trying to make a trendy pop song. That’s why Niall, Harry, and ZAYN have been more successful as solo artist. They are true to themselves and put forth the effort. It’s hard for non 1D fans to respect him when he doesn’t put in a lot of effort.

He gets hate for two reasons. The first being that he doesn’t write/produce any of his music. He just takes other people’s songs and does vocals. Secondly, he doesn’t come off as a genuine guy. It always looks like he’s trying to be something he’s not.
Let me say that I think he’s got good vocals and writing abilities from his 1D days. He just needs to be himself and stop trying to make a trendy pop song. That’s why Niall, Harry, and ZAYN have been more successful as solo artist. They are true to themselves and put forth the effort. It’s hard for non 1D fans to respect him when he doesn’t put in a lot of effort.
