Good morning. Kabankalan
My sister's and I were the first Filipino-Americans born there. Now I live in Florida. Looks a lot different than it did 40 years ago, even 20 years ago. I still have lots of family there that I still talk to from time to time, mainly through facebook. It's good to see the progress being made. I'll never forget the last time I visited, my cousin took me on a bike ride along the river and a little boy was getting circumcised in the river with a sharp stone. It was horrific. I often think how my life would have turned out had we not moved to America when I was 5. Regardless, I hope to take my family there one day to visit before everyone gets too old.

Wow! Another breathtaking video. If my memory serves me right the last time I visited Kabankalan City was way back in 1999, during its Sinulog Festival. So it's been a while hehehe. As being shown in your video, I can virtually imagine the enormous progress that Kabankalan City has gone so far. I can feel a mixture of urban lifestyle and rural ambiance which makes it a perfect combination of a city within a countryside feel so to speak. It's quite amazing! Thanks again for this great video.
You are right on that sir. The city has this urban feel yet retaining its rural charm. Im so inlove with the place in fact I go there often to relax and unwind with friends and family.

Thank you for your info about kabankalan city madam, sobrang nakakapanghinayang lang iisipin kung hindi lang sana binuwag ni president duterte ang NIR o Negros Island Region bilang pang 18 na region ng pilipinas, sobrang napakalaki na sana ang improvement ng kabankalan at mabinay mula 2016 until now dahil jan itatayo sa dalawang lugar na yan ang ibang ahensya o regional gobernment offices ng NIR oriental at occidental negros bilang isang region ang bacolod city ang maging regional center. Halong pirmi sa joyride mo madam, godbless.

Noong buhay pa si Armando o Arming Gustilo in short Gustilo is one of the prominent families in north negros specially in Cadiz city, sya ang nag proposed na gawing dalawang probinsya ang negros occidental negros del norte ang north at negros del sur ang south wla na po akong idea bakit hindi natuloy madam hehe...

Love the City Hall structure wish I work there. :D . I only been to Kabankalan once , on the 80's but did not look around the city.. I only visit to my Aunts house for few days then hop on to Ceres back to Bacolod. Sure nice Video Rain. Well done !!!!
