Smash Monopoly Rules:
Movement:
- Roll the dice. Whichever space you land on, play as that character.
Properties:
- If you win on a Character space, you will receive that property.
- If you win on a Chance, Community Chest, GO or Free Parking space you will receive a random property.
- If you win on a property you already own or an Opponent's space, upgrade a property you own with a House or Hotel. Houses and Hotels let you steal characters from opponents landing on your properties.
Other Spaces:
- If you lose on a Tax space, lose a character
- Free Parking awards 1 Random character plus any properties lost to Tax
- Landing on GO awards 1 random character
- If you land in Jail, you cannot leave until you win a match, roll doubles or 3 turns have passed.
Rent:
- If you land on an Opponent's property, you will have a handicap for the next match. This handicap is increased if they own the full set.
Sets:
- You need 3 full sets to win the game with 2 players
- You need 2 full sets to win the game with 3 players
- You need 1 full set to win the game with 4 players
- Characters in a set can not be stolen
Matches:
- Matches are played with 1 stock, Competitive rules (or your choice)
- Additional match rules may be applied

I played friendlies with Vernias once. He beat me and then kicked me in the shins until I was on the floor crying. He then asked me "that hurts right?" I could barely squeeze a "yeah" through my tears. In response he shouted "Well that's how I feel every time after recording mario party!" I then got up and we hugged. I said in a comforting voice "It's ok, Brent and Nick can't hurt you here."
At first, I thought Vernias was being mean to you after your loss until you brought up how you both hugged. Honestly, this comment is a tearjerker but maybe heartwarming

I feel like there's still some things you can add to the formula for smash monopoly. Like a currency. I realize you fight for everything, but what if you had a point system, similar to GSP? Where you gain GSP in fights you win, and you can spend it to improve your properties, similar to monopoly. And the more you improve a property, the more GSP you stand to take from your opponents. You lose when you run out of points.

I'm pretty much a literal lifelong Metroid fan. Zero Mission was the first video game I ever beat. Dread is pretty good, better than Samus Returns, but still isn't quite up to where some of the past games have been. Dread was a big improvement over Samus Returns, though, so I can imagine whatever they do next will just be better yet.
This is a great ensemble for the video. Keep up the board game ideas!

The website it amazing, my brother and I played it for a while and it was super fun
if there was something I should request, there should be an option to remove DLCs from the board, since not everyone has them
I know someone who owns neither of the full fighters passes and only bought Banjo, there should be a way to toggle off one or both DLC packs, or specific DLC fighters to avoid this issue
I've just updated it and you can now turn off DLC characters!
I will not tolerate the Metroid soundtrack SLANDER from the editor. Those soundtracks slap.
If I could recommend one thing: make it so that you can decide how many sets are required to win based on the # of players. Me and my gf were playing for way too long for three sets when we would've preferred two sets.

I love it when he puts exactly what he did in the description of his video. For the longest time I was trying to put together the same presentation he did for a smash floor quiz for my friends because I’m not original and I was trying to get his background that he used and I couldn’t find it anywhere and the whole time I was just wishing he just uploaded the presentation to his UA-cam now because I’m still not original. I’m going to steal the monopoly game board and definitely use that with my friends.
If choctopus got Greninja, they would’ve been done. I’m a greninja main because choctopus’s tutorial helped me

In my opinion, only the first 3 seasons, although, it’s rare to find a good episode outside of those seasons. However, I’m surprised how Gravity Falls’ seasons are both spectacular and the production crew wasn’t over doing it too

Fun Idea. Have you heard of Mortal Kombat's Chess Kombat mode? It was in Mortal Kombat Deception. You could adapt a similar ruleset of that for smash. Where if 2 pieces meet you fight and there are spells/items you can use to cause chaos or get an edge. Chess Kombat is one of my favorite side modes in video games and it's a shame it never came back.

@@cailieisidro5758 Its called Chess Kombat and it was only in Mortal Kombat Deception. Its super fun. All the pieces of have unique movement and abilities. You even get fantasy like sorcerer pieces with game changing spells. When 2 pieces meet you fight and winner takes the square.
