Even though their season has not been the greatest so far, the St. Louis fan support has never waivered.
And that's what I like👍
Just went to my first professional soccer match EVER at STL City SC earlier this season (a 2-0 W over NYCFC) and it changed my whole perception of soccer as a sport and fandom. I'd been casual soccer fan before then, following only USA in big tournaments like World Cup and Copa and CONCACAF and occasionally Sporting KC in MLS since they were the closest geographical team. But I've always been an STL sports fan (Rams, Blues, Cardinals), so my fandom was a no-brainer once City started the team. Didn't make it out in their inaugural 2023 season, but I made it earlier this season! It was an amazing experience. The fans were raucous, loud, passionate, creative with chants, etc! Fans were into it the whole time singing and shouting and chanting and waving their flags around. It felt like one big party the whole game. Like nothing I've experienced as a fan, and the stadium itself is state of the art with excellent food. No turning back for my fandom! ALL FOR CITY!!!! It's an excellent match day experience.
@@brandonrust4114I was at that game!
I love how that ball bounce after Eduard Löwen shot, what a goal and St Louis gameplay in this match very accurate 👏🔥
City really need to be finishing their chances, shouldve been 4 or 5, this San Jose team is awful.
That's been the story for CITY all year. Ton of chances with no finish.
How is winning 5-0 any different than winning 2-0? A win is a win
@@jasonhoffarth nah I agree a win is a win but they should be burying some of these chances which they would get punished for missing against an actual good team
Well done St. Louis! ❤🎉
SJ goalkeeper was asleep at the wheel
I agree. Why don’t they play Emi Ochoa? There’s no relegation in MLS. They have nothing to lose. He is their best keeper on the roster that is not hurt right now. I don’t get it.
木島ナイスゴール!
🎶Hosei, Hosei Hosei Hosei
Is anyone blown away by the atmospheres at these games, it's just as good as any fan support around the World
European teams left the chat
SJ is pathetic, the best USL team could probably beat them.
Pathetic owner. Las Vegas A’s are going to be screwed with john fisher 😂 good luck!
The worst USL team could probably beat them, too.
It's about time!!!!
Well it was San Jose whom are contenders for the Wooden Spoon title.
As a Californian, when I go to earthquake games, I don’t even watch the game just go there to talk with friends
Looks like the San jose players have mailed it in for the season. 😂😂😂
I like brian Mcbride as a commentator. He's a nice reprieve from Taylor twellman screaming at me
Its true that Yarbrough was very bad on that first goal. But just look at the time and space Lowen has to shoot its unbelievable!!!!
san jose makes me hate the sport of football.
Are you a quakes fan, too? I hope they sell the team and someone who actually cares about the team owns it. Maybe they'll be better than the worst team in the league.
Jay reidddddddd made in elmont 😝😝😝😝
As an LAFC fan, I am actually very surprised of St. Louis fan base
Thor needs to score.
Not one primary MLs commentator sounds legit. They sound like Little League World Series folks. Upgrade yall....they are not right 4 the gig. 😂
Les amateurs hahahahah

Relegation DOES exist in this sport....exclusively for teams like San Jose.
Where would they go and who would take their place? AFAIK, no non-MLS team in the country has the $350M+ (Charlotte FC's franchise fee) to buy them out (and I've read that the next expansion FF is expected to be $500M). IIRC, USL Championship's FF is about $20M.
both teams need to be relegated. half the hight schools here are better
there are 6 teams with less points than stl,
whether you look at the conference table or the entire league table, stl wouldn’t be relegated
they have twice as many points as san jose
