what’s the lt/100km consumption around 130 kmh speeds on highway? and what’s the combined consumption in the city with lower speeds or around 60-90 kmh?
those who will remap it will remove it probably !!this speed limit on 180kmh are garbage and Volvo think this is stupid USA&UK with 180kmh limit and 112 kmh highway speeds
Volvo focus on comfort and security over speed, but soon all cars will have a locked top speed in europe. That will be the end of new speedy cars, I bet alot are gonna buy used cars for some years ;)
@@laggmonstret i think they will not be lock up in speed except electric ones which anyway dont have some speed and in some countries with tons of limitations!!infact what is the point then tons of horse power just like expensive cars if you have speed of cheapest cars!? you will buy porsche or ferrari,lamborghini,bugatti,maseratti.... with 300-500-700+hp and you got speed limiter on 180kmh and then be overtaken by some cheap škoda!?
@@Mr11ESSE111 i can compare bmw118 and volvo v60 b3. On the same routes: bmw 6.8l, volvo 6,7l. Volvo is bigger and almost 350 kg heavier. I doubt bmw 318 or 320 eat less, most probably more.

what is the economy like, I have just sold my XC60 T5, which was fantastic but so thirsty
@@scedab The B4/T4 is much less thirsty than the T5. Problem comes when having AWD, squeezing 250-300hp from a 4 banger and weighing over 2 ton.

The B4 diesel is the same is the D4 except for the changes with the mild-hybrid tech. This goes for the old T4 and B4 petrol as well.
At 120-140 it's high wit 7-8.5l
With cruise control at 120 km/hr: 6-6.5 liter /100 km.
80 kmh = 4,6 l & 100 kmh = 4,6 l ?
Because of hybrid.., same at toyota corolla with almost same numbers

The 2005 Passat you tested recently is about as quick, with 47 less PS, wtf Volvo
