It's his first movie as hero and it collected more than 40 crore and it completed 100 days in more than 35 centres just in bangalore ..this was blockbuster movie in karnataka ..kannada movie may be underrated in other states

Telugu and Tamil industry know the art of movie making. We aren't yet at that level. @@abcd1235911 as a Non South Indian, I have observed that, of course all industries makes shitty movies, but as those movies doesn't get dubbed, we are unaware of them, Tamil and Telugu is more towards masala movies, yes they also make classy movies but compared to their massy movies, classy movies are very low in number, whereas Malayalam and Kannada movie industry is more towards classy rather than masala. and imo Tamil and Telugu movie industry became so huge is just for their crazy fans. otherwise they makes just mediocre movies most of the time. few days ago Master got released which is just an ok kind of film, but their fans created a huge buzz of the movie and became a blockbuster. they treated the movie like a masterpiece.
