i can see how much burnout 1 got inspired by this... from the environmental details like the use of blinker, the green arrows on tracks, the change of music after multiple crashes... wish they added cops and pedestrians tho
Damn, that's *CLEAN*. Going through that many cars during the 2 minute mark without fail must be nerve-wrecking but a real feat felt with how you survived through that. I haven't been able to play this game because it runs at 70-80% on MAME even with frameskip for me, but I got to play Thrill Drive 3...and yet this seems more distressing between the more unhinged results of crashes and how these tracks look pretty tight to drive on. Although both have that same OH SHIT factor when driving through traffic- there can always be something ready to end your crash-less run.
@@JDR99 bro please hit me with some other useful info. Which emulator in particular? We just got hundreds of them, pretty much showed to be mightful but then they come out to be a Real Crap. Np about the roms and also the bios. I can make it out of that somehow by myself but i need some Concrete Hint about Which emulator is Really Working with this and which version too of course.
Thank you very much! I used the 0.258B version, although I recorded it with the -aviwrite feature the emulator has, that way the recorded video shows the game going at full speed. Sorry for the late reply btw.

The OG Burnout
Yep. Thrill Drive was the inspiration for Burnout. People say that the devs had a thrill drive machine in the office.
@@arcadeguy781 Both were inspired by the film Ronin.

You just need to download the MAME emulator and the rom, maybe the Bios too, but it ain't hard at all.
