The books of James is a concise yet practical word for the church. All throughout, James is reminding us that what we believe drives what we do which gives us the 'why' behind our work.
In James 1:13-18, James moves from trials to temptations. There is a pattern and progression of sin which leads us to death. In Christ, we can know life and life abundant. This battle between spirit and flesh is one that rages daily.
