As a personal trainer, my elderly clients have always been my favorite to train. Because they aren't exercising for superficial reasons. They're exercising for their health! I have seen accomplishments like this which has made my work so fulfilling.

@peetabrown5813 Hi, Im responding from USA. Any reputable physical therapy clinic in a global city like Sydney should have all the equip necessary. If not, don't use them. First step, ask your mom's geriatric doctor for referrals. Also, Google physical therapy near your mom and Google how to interview PTs for elder clients. Once you've narrowed down good PTs close to mom, start calling them and asking lots of questions like "how do u rebuild strength w elderly clients, how many have u treated, how do u develop a suitable strategy and so on. Also ask about qualification requirements for their staff. U also need to ask about the length of each session and cost. I once had a medical referral to massage therapy but quickly realized the 1 hr session only included 10 min of actual massage. It was a rip-off! Little details like that will reveal who's best. Also VERY important, who is mom most comfortable with? Your mom will stick w it if she's treated kindly, w respect and not every PT fits that mold. Good luck!

If you strengthen the muscles of your knee, they will greatly lessen any pressure to the knee from everyday activities.
So please find some kinda exercises that's not painful to you and strengthen your knees legs.
Plus exercise promotes blood flow to the knee and knee starts to restore itself on microscopic level.
Plus a little bit of God's miracle powder and voila! Everything will be good❤

This is beautiful and inspiring. My maternal Grandfather was like this guy until his early 90's. Worked out everyday, took time for deep breathing and meditation everyday. Swam 50 laps or walked or both everyday. I remember as a small child watching him do that in his 60's, 70's 80's and yes even into his 90's before health issues finally caught up. He set a precedence for me that now at 44 I've tried to follow in my own life. That was one of the most important lessons and gifts he gave me, because most of the rest of my family didn't take care of them selves. They just had this attitude that people get old and we have no control over that and our quality of life. I refuse to just lay down and die. This man is an inspiration and he looks fantastic and is able to truly enjoy his golden years. This is the REAL reason to take care of yourself, not just to look good on social media.

That's why it's so important to be active as you age. Granted you can't prevent everything but paying the cost of taking care of yourself over the years will allow you to enjoy your elder years. The worse thing you can do is not be active as you age. You'll be less likely to need as much additional care/attention and it will take some pressure off of your loved ones who you may otherwise rely on to help you.
