I failed last week on that dual carriage way . After 40 it goes to 30 after the traffic lights but l missed the sign and l was busy concentrating on the traffic lights and cars in front of me . Also used common sense to see the size of the raid can’t be 40 but the examsjber said l did 35 and it took me a while to realise we had gone back to 30 . One serious fault speed and l still feel sick about it . Mitcham is hard 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Damn I’m sorry to hear that. But you will get it next time. Keep your chin up and go smash it next time. You made a mistake but it sounds like you can drive. Be positive and go get it done!
@@BALHAM69 l don’t think so coz l did 35 in 30 road and they is alias speed camera . My instructor said if l do that in really life l will get a ticket or points that why it’s a fail .
Beginning the journey of ADI instructing with a Theory on the horizon but these videos having watched 10 or 11 are invaluable in skills learning and corrective tuition. Having been a clean safe driver for over 30 years, it is still re education and it’s already changing bad habits. I’m indebted 👍🚗🚗
You are more than welcome!!! I wish you the very best of luck and hard work for what’s ahead but most of all I hope you enjoy the process! If you have questions I’m here!
My Car driving test is finally booked for 12:28pm on Friday 20 September 2024 at Mitcham (London) Let’s hope nothing happens to my test slot.. i still have bad experiences in taking a uk driving test.😢 i only gotten the confirmation email at 6.54 am 😂 i was so confused on where this was.😅 Thought i given wrong email for example. It’s a massive relief to have a test date in as my phone isn’t allowed to book a test slot.😮 Yes do Morden area too. And Hither green test route Roland i enjoyed this video; was a good watch i am Learning manual gear. Would you believe i failed Roland for doing a twenty in a thirty zone? because i missed the one sign that say thirty, i stopped on the thirty sign underneath when waiting was waiting at a red light. i was very unfortunate in this. as you say “wow, mitcham has so many twenty zones” Hopefully i pass in September.
Ah that’s nasty! Horrible to fail for that! Make sure you practise looking out for signs. It won’t happen again. Long wait till September maybe you can get an earlier slot! We can do more test centres for sure! Good luck with your next test! 🙌
Mine is booked for Friday the 13th of September at Mitcham, too! I am not superstitious, but I'm hoping to move it to an earlier date, wishing you all the best on your test :)
Roadworks seem a common feature these days, my test area last year was full of roadworks and I so glad I was use to negotiating them on lessons. When I took my test not one examiner came out with a sat nav, all were following road signs due to the amount of roadworks. I’m so glad I knew how to deal with them so they didn’t catch me out on my test.
I failed in Mitcham today. it is not an east test route and throughout the day it becomes too busy. Many drivers at Lombard Roundabout do not give signals while exiting and long queues of cars before entering. In busy times, other drivers do not let you change lane. Their selfishness caused me 2 majors today. 80% of drivers in London should take driving test again! To my understanding, by the current pass rate, 1 or max 2 learners over 10 can be successful at this test route.
I’m sorry to hear that! But keep your chin up you will get it next time. I suggest practising at busy times so you’re more used to dealing with peak time traffic. I can imagine that Lombard roundabout being quite tricky at busy times. I wish you all the best for the next time!
It all depends on the situation. How long you’ve had to wait, how it was done and ultimately if it was done safely. It wouldn’t be the first thing I’d do. But if I couldn’t get out. You might just have to.
I failed my test on23rd morden no only one mistake examiner says moving off safty she said I didn’t check the blindspot but i did 😢 i got another date on November nearly 6 months fk
I’m really sorry to hear that. But you will get it next time. Have you tried looking for cancellations? When checking blind spots, moving off, take your time. Make sure you are looking properly. I quick glance over the shoulder, even if you see it’s clear can sometimes be deemed as not effective. You could miss something. Make a concerted effort to demonstrate you’re looking properly. Good luck for next time! Go get it done!

They can be tricky and confusing for sure but if you know what you’re doing then 🙌
Thank you
Watching this one the night before my test is quiet helpful bc I’ve never been this route after 30+ hours of lessons
Good luck!!!! Stay calm, focus. Think about the road ahead and behind and go get it done! 🙌
Any update on test?😮
My nearest Ikea is in this area, so I need to review this video when I get my car. :D

@@GetWheelDriving thank you for your good supportive words. People like me naturally get upset after practising so many hours, when they failed.
Please come to Nottingham and do a part 2 mock test with meeee!
Nottingham is a bit far.. 😝If you’re willing to travel you could come to me.
@@GetWheelDriving scary London driving??!! Where abouts are you based?

3:58 - Wouldn't a learner be penalised in a Test though for emerging and blocking the traffic to the right ?

Coming soon! 🙌
That was Croydon. 😂
Do the roundabout which we use the middle lane... I just forgot the location of the roundabout
Old town roundabout - three lanes?
Let me know which one. We can look at it👍
