You need to knock thecpugs in behind the tile
They need to put some tiles in at the bottom so patching that one at the top isn’t the end of the world, accidents happen buddy, I tend to go through stages when things go wrong, really gets you down, but that’s life.
Nice easy viewing on my Monday evening also a pleasure meeting you at Installer mate. 👍
Great honest content as always. It was great to meet you at installer pal 👍👍
I can relate to how you’re feeling about that tile, always concentrate on the mistakes 😫 own worst enemy at times
Real world plumbing as mj tiff says! Every job isn't insta worthy. Sometime you have to just do what the customer wants and make it look as neat as possible... Great work pal
1:47 check out the mould on the shower ceiling in the background. Shocking how some people (have to) live. Great video mate
🤘😎🤘Myra shower rails are pants they last about 18 months 🤣😂🤣😂🤣great to see you at Installer 🤘😎🤘
Long as it lasts as long as it takes to start the van 😂 thanks for coming to say hello mate much appreciated 🙌👊
Nice temp repair. Couldn't have done better myself!!
😂 Cracking idea to be fair, poor dog lost a lickie Matt but for a good cause
Rads never fair well when they are in pissing range😆😵🤣
Another good one mate, working my way through all the vids. As someone who currently works for your previous employer with only 3 years experience on SnR. Would you say going out on your own is lucrative enough to be worth while. Do you wish you had done it earlier in hindsight?
As a sparky, I’ve fitted plenty of them Miras. I noticed you didn’t prime the unit though using the air bleed button inside the shower. Commissioning section in the manual says it’s important to do this otherwise it will affect the performance of the shower.
😂🤣 stick abit of silicone in there! classic one that is. Good old reliable silicone has many uses, ive been there lol👌👍
8:05 That repair is impressive. The most impressive part of that work of art is how TF its creator managed to escaped mental hospital?
To be fair it was a cracking idea and worked! 😂 I was impressed but did have questions 😅
@@bluebulldog_uk Yeah, questions how TF that previous "plumber" managed to escape mental hospital...
Don't feel bad about the tiles mate it happens to us all. Great video cheers Luke
Had a shower that the client put a cheap shower head on and ended up in hospital with burns due to overheat kicking in and switching water off then came back on with boiling water and another that set the shower on fire 🙈
Shame for customers as they don’t hear these horror story’s, they just see a cheap shower head and don’t understand the damage it can do
does the customer not know how to clean?
Budget and creep away at large
Don't damage peoples property. It is not your house
I wouldn’t last the week if I were given these jobs. Much better work in the plumbing industry than this. Pays the bills I suppose but zero job satisfaction.
Just basic plumbing jobs that you get week in week out to be honest, the mains was a decent job to do to be fair
Great content Luke. Good tip on putting a cloth down in the shower tray. Shower swap sounds easy to most people but I always say you never know what is behind the cover. 1 shower I did had a flexi into the fill valve. It was the last thing I expected to see. So I removed the old flexi back to the 15 mm copper pipe and did some fancy soldering after chiselling out a bit of the wall to gain access to the pipe. This game never fails to surprise that’s for sure. Good job
Thanks mate 👍 one of the first mistakes I made was charging a low price on showers as they always end up being a nightmare even the straight swaps 😅
