I think this plays better two player than solo. In solo your stuck with 50 rounds really at the mercy of the dice and card distribution. Two player game the cards will cycle better and most likely get what you want/need. Plus you have more control as to when the game ends. Yes it's a race game but solo feels like a sprint. Lol. I also enjoy Nations the dice game as well. The others we have yet to play, will have to take a look. Thanks for your thoughts. Have a great day!
@@PublicExecution Yes I do watch solo reviews but my statement above is based on game play. I had an opportunity to play the dice version this week both solo and two player. No I don't own the game but someone else I know does. Two player for me is the sweet spot and the only way I would play. No matter Ares is my favorite I do miss the tile map placement instead of flipping a tile.
