Kilmartin Glenn, what a place. Makes you wonder.... Nice to see the area again. I was going to visit the hospital I used to work at in Lochgilphead, but then discovered it closed in 2016!!!
It is nice round there. We stopped off at Lochgilphead a few week back to have a good look round. Spent a few hours there.. The Kilmartin Glen is beautiful.. 👍
Looked like splendid weather Mr B, plenty going on in the vid, lot’s interesting history and a brilliant pitch for a camp, I think the advantage you have in Scotland is you have the right to pitch more or less anywhere you want, which is great, down these parts it’s a bit more tricky, well done for listening to Shiraz, a good influence 🍷🍷🍷🍷😊
Actually bumped into the land owner as I was heading down to the bay. Had a natter with him, chatting all about camping etc... wished me well and a comfortable night.... On his land... 😃😃😃 It makes a huge difference being welcomed TtT... Pity Englandshire can't wake up.
I heard about ur UA-cam channel on TikTok and though to myself why not check it out and I'm amazed, the views are absolutely beautiful and enchanting and I love the courtesy of greetings that people there bestow upon each other, this ride and hike absolutely made my night,I love learning about places ,I'm not even sure where you are from 😊but I will go and see,I will be sure to take another ride with you kind sir and thank you for taking me along (unbeknownst) on this epic ride ,hope you have a wonderful day after......
Looked a great trip. Visited those cairns last year by accident. Sure the middle one you may have missed has a metal sliding door on top where you can actually go inside. Atb
Ey up Jimbo. That bloody Shiraz, she has a lot to answer to. Haha What a top trip that was, loads of interesting things on that outing. Big one for me next week. A five day hike on the Cumbria Way. All the best mate Dave
That's such a lovely area. We were staying at Ellenabeich on the Isle of Seil last year (BTW, recommend Easdale island which is a two minute ferry ride from Ellenabeich) and we took a drive down to Crinan and the beautiful village of Tayvallich, another lovely spot.
@@BoredManOutdoors yeah, in September. There's a website where you can sign up to take part. I think entries close soon. We go wild swimming in the old slate pits on Easdale. It's awesome.
Now you need to go and visit the Clava Cairns they are awesome! You also need to do the Kintyre 66 is a fab cycle especially the east side. There’s also loads more stones etc further south from where you were it’s a great area I see I’m still the Komoot Expert for the area 😉 I really need to get my finger out and get some cycling done 🚴🏻♀️now I’m almost finished the spring chores.
Aye - get oot girl... Warming up now. I e done the 66 before it was the 66.. The East as you say is lumpy but lovely - nearly died on the Macrihanish rd by speeding motorbikes. 🤜🤛
Well done for getting on your bike. I’ve been to Kilmartin several times and the surrounding area and it’s just packed with history and culture. Hope to see more of your bike packing adventures.
Eh up lad, thi does reet. New Sub. I have a stand that deals with not damaging gears etc and sometimes use a Y ended stick under the central bar or seat for the same reason.
That shiraz has alot to answer for like. 🍷😂 Nice wee pitch Jim. Impressive burial cairns n standing stones. Love a wee bit o Scots History like.
Lovely ride out Kev, really enjoyed it... Made a nice change... I think I've a couple of your latest videos to catch up on... Good to see you oot 🤙😎

This is the best channel to visit for relaxation.
Top tip - when you lay your bike down, always lay it on the left side to help avoid damaging the gears. Very enjoyable film!
