there are a lot of poorly-made nature documentaries on the internet and this ISN'T one of them. it had excellent footage of some rare and seldom seen lemurs, great views of Madagascan landscapes, and the narration isn't melodramatic or gimmicky. it was enjoyable to watch.

Beautiful❤️ I feel that it’s the responsibility of every human being. Not just the people of Madagascar. We sit comfortably on our sofas watching footage like this via our TVs, Laptops and smartphones. We are spoilt and living in luxury. We too can do something.
everyone should have the freedom to like or dislike. Not everyone like all kinds of animals. some people hates cockroach, rat... how many people talk about protecting those animals? if we can kill 1 kind, why can't we make it fair to other kinds? so, if you like it, you don't kill them, but for those who don't, they should have the right to do what they want too.

Sadly as always, in the end, the future of all life, and the beauty of this extraordinary Planet will depend on the ability of the human species to act together to save it from the very destruction they cause.. I love nature documentaries and this one is excellent. Madagascar is an amazing and beautiful place. I just want to know how they know or surmised that the lemurs drifted on plant debris to Madagascar 60 million years ago? Couldn't they have already been there?
Possibly by looking at fossils. They can tell these things you know. They know exactly what animals were in the Americas at what times, why not also in Madagascar?

Amazing video, thank you so much for uploading it here, it´s both educational and utterly interesting! I find this sort of documentary more enjoyable than tourist trips themselves, I confess I'm not that much into traveling (with few exceptions):-)
I enjoyed this program very much and hope the people that live there through education to find a way of employment such as guides for tourists, openings up the areas for scientific studies, a better way of land management naturally by using mulch and natural fertilizers ( not chemical ) etc. What is the government like for the island? Could some environmentalist groups volunteer to teach the indigenous peoples?
They have a terrible government that is awfully corrupt! And it baits the 2 main indiginous groups against each other, using rumours of false flag attacks to keep them fighting. It's a disaster!
