2 years later and still Yoseka seems to be the only place to get it. I like this a lot more than the alloy and maybe even more than the philography. I wish it would come out on amazon so I could get it with prime shipping
I own one of these pens and have been using it for over a year. Unfortunately, the spring frequently fails, ruining at least one refill so far due to leaks caused by the spring mechanism. Because of this, I won't purchase another spring-based pen. If you need a small pen, consider Sterling Slim or Hexreform as alternatives.
What’s your secret to staying so up to date? It’s not rare for your videos to be one of if not the only mention of a new item on the English speaking web for a while. Great stuff btw, keep it up
Does this have the same style of threading (which I can only describe as…not actual threading?) that the Alloy uses? I’ve had two of those and both eventually became unusable as the front end of the body would just fly off from the pressure of the spring.
@@liliax9147 enjoy! I believe it was the first ever gel/ballpoint pen with that tip size but now i few have come out. Off the top of my head i think the hi-tech-c has a 0.2-0.3 tip and the uniball signo has one as well.
@@humanfirst11 I saw this at a Japanese store nearby couple of days ago. I am sure Pentel does some of its manufacturing in India. Was not sure of the models untill I saw the package. You can call and ask Pentel India to get some info. Thanks.
It's not even in Google search yet, only your video comes up! Amazing that you were able to get it!

If it fits a Energel refill it will fit a Uniball Jetstream refill. And that'd all I needed to hear
Enjoyed. Today I have purchased this pen. Beautiful pen and writting
Wow. That's one of the most beautiful pens I've ever seen.
Love the bright blue barrel. I’ve got to have one now. There goes more of my paycheck on pens. sigh...

Just a small number of high quality sources that I check regularly

Any upcoming videos that you plan to do 60fps? Those look amazing!
Cool! I hope Pentel would release it in Japan too!
The energel refills are a good refill but they keep stopping. I have changed to a zebra refills they are far more reliable.
I been having the pen spring failing on the alloys in my pocket no real use no idea why
Looking forward to getting my hands on this
How much this cost please say
How many sides does the barrel have?
It looks like it has more than 8 sides.
Since I saw you review of the Pentel Alloy I've been using it exclusively.
Great pen
Do u buy pens on line or store?
Good review. When will this hit the US market?
Hard to say, Pentel US hasn't said anything about it yet. Some US importers are selling it though, like Yoseka.
@@unsharpen I'll look into this, thanks!
Do you know of any rollerball ink pens that come in around .2 tip? Is it impossible?
No, usually rollerball doesn't go below 0.5mm, you can look for a gel pen like the Energel Edge
Jetsream edge*
@@KcCake omg! I just bought it thanks so much

I will give this a pass and would probably buy another sarasa grand instead, in vintage colors.
That's definitely a much better looking pen.
Link to this pen please?!
Yoseka Stationary.
Sal, is this pen made in India? I saw this pen at a local store here and the packaging states "Made in India". The same with the Alloy.
What! Then it should have been available in India first 🤔😊
