It's hard to believe she's mortal... she sounds like an angel, I'm sure this is how angels sing. This should be put out to the world and everyone will be up stood to listen. I believe this girl could change the world.
Your reactions are the best! I love Lucy, think she's the best singer out there, no tricks just effortless and pure. Every song she sings, she puts 100% into.
Such an overwhelmingly beautiful song and sung so magnificently by Lucy. This song will be sung by Lucy in the role of Rosie Boote in Chris Broom’s musical Rosie and it tells some of the story of the main character. But it also speaks to me on a personal level and on a human level. Personally this song triumphs in the challenges and aspirations of people as they try to live their best lives. For humanity, it challenges us all to think about what is going on this world. I think we can all do a lot better. The world can be doing a lot better. Is it idealistic, yes, and apologetically so. Chris Broom, the composer and lyricist here has written a belter of a song. It deserves to find fame as a major hit from what will be a major musical when Rosie launches later this year. As for the singing her. It is exceptional. Lucy has a voice the envy of everyone at the moment and justifiably so. She is outstanding in every way. Thanks for your entertaining and thoughtful reaction and for your support of this angel of vocals.
Oh my gosh! Lucy, as always is phenomenal and a great inspiration. She brought me to tears. It is wonderful to see how Lucy records with the orchestra!! This beautiful music & lyrics by Chris Broom is so welcome in these times. Kudos to Pablo Hopenhayn and the orchestra as well as the entire production cast and crew.
Now then Ace calm down, you are looking at one of the most Beautiful young lady's in the world who has one of the best voice's anybody could wish for she is just amazing. This song is from the musical "Rosie " with Lucy as the main star of the musical. She may be the next Disney Star. Take care, Barbara.
Wow- that was impressive. From the words to the music to that beautiful lady with the Golden voice. This could be the standout equivalent to Never Enough from The Greatest Showman or One Day More from Les Mis. It’s the song that closes out the play. And that wasn’t an easy song as there was very little repetition in the different stanzas.
While other great singers are arranging their makeup and considering the rehearsal, Lucy will have pumped out her song and be on to the next one. I imagine the longest time spent on her songs is going to find a new dress for it. This new original song has a nice lyrics and a good message. For more duets get back to Martha and listen ‘The Prayer’, as that does deserve an award! Or if you are emotionally strong then ‘You Raise Me Up’. Two powerful songs! 💪 Ace pick what you wish as all Lucy’s songs are good. 🙂
Have you checked out “Broken Dreams” from Rosie. You will see Lucy’s massive stage presence -like the Broadway greats . I see that in her future. The composer, Chris Broom may be the next Andrew Lloyd Webber if he can keep producing beautiful songs
user Broadway is in New York USA and Lucy is British, she is headed to West London this fall to sing this song and many others as the Lead singer in Rosie. Dirty Broadway is NOT the only place to start a star...
Nice shirt, Ace! Hey, the reason why I suggested Sara Bareilles doing Yellow Brick Road by Elton John is precisely because of how much you are digging Lucy Thomas, as do i. She was older than Lucy when she recorded this, or at least the performance I'm talking about in the concert hall, where she's just sitting behind a piano and playing piano and singing. It is mind-blowing and stunning as a singing performance and also as a musical arrangement. It's a highly regarded performance by voice instructors and the Broadway musical scene in general, although this does not come off as Broadway at all, and it's not; it's just a fantastic display of mind-blowing singing.
