As a Horticultural Technician working daily with many of the species I see grown there in natural settings, it amazes me to think of the small contained environment my plants live in compared to what their true potential is! It also makes me even more encouraged that whenever my plants show a yellow leaf, or a brown edge, it’s natural! My challenge is keeping them thriving in their containers, while providing the closest elements to their natural desire. Thank you for always taking me along with you on these adventures!
The cactus look pretty good and they’re planted outside the soil must be super fast draining with all the rain they receive, everything so green and luscious, thanks for sharing!!!
This is one of my favorite videos from you yet! I've been really appreciating the addition of chill music breaks to your videos. This one had just the amount of learning and music break that I needed today. ❤
Thank you Adam! Great tour! I remember visiting over 35 years ago it looks so much better! I wouldn't be so passionate about orchids today if it wasn't for visiting mi Titi en Cartago Costa Rica, and its Preservation efforts should be an example for all countries to follow. The Cactus garden is the only garden that looks familiar because they grow up slowly, I remember more palm trees didn't see as many in this video.
started collecting orchids last year sitting at 80 now most of them from costa rica and ecuador here in central florida, i find them easy to take care of the challenge comes when most folks think they require the same amount of water and light and or thickness of medium or type.

Lovely intricate music again, the last episode as well. Love the song in 5 (17:20)!
Is a beautiful place, very well kept, in February is the best time to go, most of the orchids are in Bloom. The video is beautiful.
so happy to see so many orchid videos on your channel.

Omg the gardens grew up! Visiting 35 yrs ago, it why when master gardeners put their roots down it's hard to ever leave their home.

I'm halfway through the video before I realized I've actually visited this botanical garden 6 years ago. Such a cool garden!

So beautiful ❤. Could plants from Costa Rica be brought to the USA?
The Lankaster botanical garden actually sells small orchids in glass sealed containers already certified for travel
Tissue culture orchids from designated places like Lankester can be brought in without a phytosanitary certificate.
👍😊💚🌿
Would be great if they actually produced and sold native species to the public.
Local Nurseries always have the same boring exotic plants.
Number1 lol
