Hootenanny SIngers sjunger Evert Taube

The boys released 2 albums of Evert Taube songs, they are by far the boys best work. (Although the Dan Andersson album comes close.) This album was released in 1965 and the boys sing Taubes accoustic folk medleys. Björns fans will love "Britta". "Den sköna Helen" has always been one of my favorites by the boys. "Tango Rosa" finishes up the video, Taube is credited with introducing the tango to Sweden, he learned it on his long sojourn on the Argentine Pampas. I lived in Sweden for 18 months and just loved the music of the 60s. It helped me to learn Swedish. The Hootenanny Singers were one of the most popular groups. When I left the country, I brought many favourite albums and EPs home with me. It's fantastic to find them all on UA-cam.
