This is a great history lesson, Ive followed the NHL for 20 years and have only recently started attending and following the EIHL through a friend whose a Panthers fan, I stayed neutral watching the games for the sport. But a couple of months back I decided to become a Devils fan as I liked the look of the Jersey and being a Calgary Flames fan seeing they had a number of Calgarians on the team swayed me.
Good choice matey. And we have the Calgary owners obviously so they tend to keep the Calgary connection going each year so I think it will suit you if you are a Calgary supporter. You will also see that the owners and club always treat the players well. That is always a good thing as an employer wishing to recruit top players and showing how professional you are.
