So sorry for your loss baz & dan my girlfriend Sam thankfully beat cancer last October. I watched these vlogs while she had her Brachytherapy but that disease is horrible watching her deteriorate and the pressure and stress it put on all of us as a family and my kids seeing her like that. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. But also changed my mindset in life about family and money/work and time 100% relate love the videos keep em up.
Lost my older brother 14 years ago yesterday. He was the coolest guy I ever knew. Fastest trucks cars and women. He could weld under water, upside down no problem. He taught me how to weld when I was 13 years old. I miss him so much Doesn't seem possible.
So sorry for your loss. You didn’t know, I know nothing I can say will make you feel better but your message just now is very powerful, and will help others to better understand how terrible this disease can be. Never met you but I would lay a hefty bet that your sister would not want you to torture yourself with those feelings. Take care🇨🇦
Sadden to hear of passing off your sister........always emotional on anniversary of there passing .........always try remember good times.....life is short ....live your best life be kind help others were you can
Sorry for your loss Baz and your family. I lost my dad to cancer 19 years ago. I was 37 then. I will definitely buy something of your merchandise. I love what you are doing. Dan is the man when it comes to mobile phones. You can't beat samsung compared to iPhones. You could hear the emotion of Baz when talking about his sister. Must be really hard, especially at this time of the year.😢 I do hope the new merch sells quickly, and it's a wonderful thing you are doing with respect to the hospice.
Sorry for you loss. Don't blame yourself. Very interesting chapter. It's nice to see workshop getting busier and busier. Cal should have more airtime. When falling off ATVs, remember we're not 20 anymore.
I'm sorry to hear about you and your brothers loss, baz. But it was another great video as usual, and to hear that your sister and dad are still a little part of your company was a good way to remember both of them.
I relate to the first part of the video baz. Lost my dad to cancer in 2017 being only 13 at the time such a fucking horrible disease and my life has never been the same since. Love all the work you and the team do really inspirational to young welders and engineers like myself.

Hers was in the womb terrible my mum was a nurse saw the scan and knew instantly they called it the silent killer... as soon as u feel the pain its too late
Here’s a thing I’ve read, since I’ve been reading up on jcb mini diggers, I’ve seen a few folk touting the longer gravemaster boom when selling machines, I was reading a jcb handbook for the 8015 and it says the gravemaster boom isn’t designed to cope with heavy muck shifting, only digging deeper for graves etc.
Sorry to hear about your sister, you are left with a hole but memories cannot be taken away. Brilliant episode you are definitely building a successful business and partnership with your brother
One of the biggest selling points with ‘iPhone’ isn’t just the phone on its own. It’s the fact you buy into the whole ecosystem and it all just works. IPad, The Apple watch, headphones, Apple home kit. Spec for spec the Samsung probably does have a few features that would be nice to have. But as an average, you stay Apple because it would upturn your whole day to day technology consumption if you switch.
@Welder Fabber I'm so sorry for the loss of your sister Baz My condolences R.I.P Baz's Sister Yes I can relate man , ur such a top bloke lah .......love you man
My lad realised the precious in his life, jacked his very well paid job for a Monday to Friday job on less half the pay, he now just ticks over, but he has every weekend with his son from Friday night on, he buys what he needs and not what he wants, massive life change, but his 8 year old son now wants to live with him, happy days
Baz, your opening comments are so true family must come first as does your own wellbeing. Life is short so we need to cherish the moments we have, support our loved ones and friends. I know the loss that cancer brings and appreciate the feelings that come with it. In you discussing your late father’s accident I also suffered losses on two consecutive Christmases so understand the annual time of remembrance for those close ones we have lost. Stay strong and thank you as always for the great videos you produce but also the heart on the sleeve moments you share which I appreciate can be difficult for especially men to share. It takes immense strength and courage to discuss these issues but the more we do the more people may be aware of cancer and be alert to the warning signs.
Worked in Construction as a plant fitter most of my life, Tower Cranes, Cranes, Tunnelling equiptment. My wife compained she felt unwell for months with stomach pains. Gastroscopy after Gastroscopy. In the end she had a endoscopy or camera in the stomach. Result: Stage 4 stomach cancer. gone in 14 months. So if you have a pain in the guts, get it seen to real quick!!!

What pisses me off is I didn’t get to say goodbye to her… I was and still am devastated.. Keep the videos coming Baz… I look forward to them 👍👍
Baz, I believe the non sparking material you will make the cutters from will either be a beryllium copper alloy or an aluminum bronze- around refineries and flammable liquids these materials are used for the tools . In recycling of automobile gas tanks at the wrecking yards an axe of beryllium copper alloy is used to put a hole in a gas tank to drain it.
Next time you n cals on big Joabs as the scots say need that song on he was bobbling long to in your story. during the week welding the forklift. (In parallel now its gone. WF version weld it on!!!!)

For the barrel cutter heads, would Mallory work? ,think its a tungsten alloy and it doesn't spark when we use a surface grinder on it.
there is a copper alloy when heat treated is a lot stronger than steel I'm looking into
