@@tjhotis1050 true. the UFC will build up paddy through beating tin cans and then switch him to beat old fighters with big names before putting him for the title
@@4Before4 bro.. paddy will never get to fight for the title with his current skill set. Won’t even be ranked. He will be a big name but him getting into the rankings in the next 2-3 years is very unlikely
Among the future top 5 contenders and top 10, Gamrot showed to have the best cardio aside of Islam? Arman Tsarukyan showed to have great kicks and is steadily improving his striking, his wrestling is top tier as he had some success against Islam who is a more complete grappler than Arman had difficulty because of the Judo-Wrestling-Sambo base of Islam and his own inexperience. Mateusz Gamrot showed to have the best cardio among the newer lws aside from maybe Islam? However, he lacks in the striking compared to Guram and Arman as we've seen. He does showed to have better wrestling against both of them and him having a bjj black markes his grappling more dangerous than Arman and Guram in the grappling department, but not very dangerous in the stand up. Rafael Fiziev, has the best striking among the newer lightweights, more technical, diverse, and powerful. He isn't much of a wrestler compared to Guram and Damir, certainly not on the level of Arman, Gamrot, let alone Islam. Is he a great anti wrestler? Currently, he might the best in lw, but we haven't seen him against the likes of Gamrot or Arman. Guram Kutateladze, he has a good base of kickboxing and wrestling, but he doesn't really excel heavily in both as we've seen him get taken down by Gamrot and outstruck by Damir, but he outstruck Gamrot and outwrestled Damir which shows how styles and dynamics are getting more interesting in lw. Damir Ismagulov, great striking, but is it in the level of Poirier and Fiziev? Maybe not, but it is close. Damir has good wrestling as seen in the Guram fight, and it could improve and we might see more of it in the upcoming Arman fight. Jailin Turner, very long striker could pose problems for everyone in the striking because of the range. Wrestling, haven't seen much of it from him maybe should look into him. His offensive grappling tho, very strong. Question is his durability, he's the lankiest lightweight atm, we'll have to keep an eye on him. Beneil Dariush, not really young prospect, more of an underrated veteran. Solid BJJ maybe close to that of Charles, but his striking isn't the cleanest, but he could make it a dog fight brawl or a snooze fest grappling match where he'll come out on top with submission threats, i can't see him outwrestling many of current contenders. Islam Makhachev, next title challenger, very strong grappling base with his judo-wrestling-sambo, as we've known he doesn't have the best chin, been tagged before, but we'll see in his next fight. His striking defense is currently the best with least significant strikes absorbed because of how big the threat of his grappling is combined with his already defensively sound footwork. A nightmare match up for those who lack a strong mastery of the skillset to counter one aspect of his game.
people who say guram lost its total bs. obly thing gamrot did is bringing guram down. and even brought down guram mostly started doing armbars and stuff like that. so he was more active amd dangerous
@uuuu7jj so? Doesent matter what he said the fight doesent lie watch it again.he just said it because he was frustrated he didnt dominate his opponent like he was used to. The most danger was created by guram on the feet and on the ground. I wouldnt give gamer the win because he had couple of takedwons in which mostly he got into a damgerous submission position himself and nothing else.
After wrestlers took over mma and were controlling people a lot most of the rules have been change to favor damage over control. I would say danger over control. And for sure first 2 rounds go to guram he was clearly closer to finishing fight.

powerful bodykicks, knockdown in 2nd round. Even the odds were in guram favor after 2 rounds. Gamrot did good with wrestling but was effective only in 3rd round.
