  • A two-foot flat-form pocket serpent horn by Scott F. Hall in cut and laminated wood--played here with a three-inch polyvinyl chloride tube bocal inserted and connected to a small-shank trombone mouthpiece (6.5 AL). This particular instrument is in the collection of Oscar Abella, principal tuba player with the Basque National Orchestra and resident of Hendaye, France.
