We need more vids like this! Timing, transient throttle, idle, two step setup, fuel and timing on different fuels and na vs turbo etc would love to learn more! :D
Its a-lot too consider but it isn’t too hard once you understand how to read datalogs. It took me a few weeks to know enough and build the confidence to go ahead and tune my supercharged si and shit was moving at the end 😁.
Love the info, especially being a stock motor and I just happen to be running a jdm b20b so ,loved the info . You guys always put out great content ,hope to one day make it out your way one day. Thank you guys for being solid and real !
This is absolutely awesome stuff guys, seeing Alex go threw the logs and explain to everybody the process. Keep it up. Alex eres in mostro!!!! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
This was a dope video i been busy so finally got to watch it. alex is so calm and clear with his thoughts. Great to see behind the scenes and great information about tuning.
This is dope video man! Please make more and break down the little areas to help ppl that wanna look at their S300 and not feel like a different language.
i love your guys videos so much i wanted to ask you i have a 2000 honda crv jdm with the b20 and the p8r head is it worth it to get it tuned by you guys or whoever can?
60hp can be done but its usually no more than 15 or 20 under the curve. Peak HP doesnt mean shit, its the area under curve that matters. Its like the engine in the F-150 V6 ecoboost. It doesnt make a load of power but makes around 440ft/tq from 1500rpm to 5000rpm. That is a fuck load of area (Usable Power) under the curve.
Hello Alex. I plan on putting a B20 Vtec setup in my 96 Civic Dx. I want to run Hondata with a P28 ecu and B16 head. I live in Louisiana and would love to bring you my car to tune when I get it put together. I have ZERO experience using Hondata but I am watching videos to learn. I wonder how our elevation differences would effect my tune when I got back down to my city. I'm about 65 feet above sea level.
Yup, I've relaxed on my b18b, used to take it to 9. Found out I wasnt making more power up top and putting it through a lot of stress. Now I shift at 7400 when I'm actually pushing it
The person I bought the car from had done the swap i only paid 1400 for it but i have spent the last 8 months correcting things that the previous owner cheaped out on when he did the swap. Main thing was the engine mounts he bought some cheap ebay mounts just to get the swap done those things had so much vibration it would shake your fillings out replaced those with some innovative mounts at the same time as doing that I also put in a half rad and traction bar as I knew eventually I would do a full exhaust and after that go turbo. Only real things I'm wrestling with now is if i want to go vtec or not. already have the turbo i picked up a holset hy35 I'm only looking to get 300 - 400 whp out of it because i think that anything more then that will be to much for a DD.
Hardly hear it! They wont tell u everything! Its their secret! If they go into details, customers will learn to tune themselves and they wont have anymore customers!
Would love to see ignition timing tuning

It might change a little bit not much. I think we are around 760 above sea level.
Great vid wish there was tuner training
Can ya do this tutorial on kpro with cam angle degrees? I watch this video almost everyday lol
Hey! Can you share this basmap? Want to try on my stock b20b 🙌🏻
Stock b20 revving to 8k rpm?
Yup, I've relaxed on my b18b, used to take it to 9. Found out I wasnt making more power up top and putting it through a lot of stress. Now I shift at 7400 when I'm actually pushing it
The stock tachometer optimistic rev limiter kicks at 7200
Learned alot. Thanks
Super video bros.
Would love to see 2 step tuning or flame tuning
great info !!!
Where does the shop located at id like to take my swap for a n/a tuned b20b
You guys have a tune basis on KPRO? I’ll be willing to pay
Next videos should be a Nos bseries
How did you get the graph lines to move up and down as a whole instead of just adjusting individual points??
Any tips on iat compensation table.
Thank you so much!!!!!
great job!
would it be worth it to get my crx tuned its got a swapped b20b with and intake and full 2.5" exhaust its running on a ls ecu at the moment
ronnie cason - If it hasn’t been Tuned there is hidden Power for sure.

O JEZ, O JEZ,O JEZ, O JEZ. JUS LET THE MAN TALK N TUNE ur jusba camra man they dont say anything.
What does this thing have done to it? Seems like a lot for a b20 non VTEC. I want that power in my rd1 lol
High comp b20 full boltons. Very healthy motor
Great JOB!!! :)
great info
I need my civic tune 😭
Nice!!!!
So how many horses can you get on a stock tune and then how many with just boltons and a tune?? B20b
My stock bottom end, 8.8:1cr b20b with RM stage 2 cams made 172hp and 138tq. It was tuned on e85 by Humble.
Chase Colston high compression head of given you maybe 200hp? Thanks for info
Some ITR style pistons, b16 intake manifold(fitted for a non-vtec), and some decent cams should net 200whp.
Chase Colston , is it possible to upgrade the cams on a vtec head and still have the advantage of vtec?
@@chasecolston any 1/4 miles time and trap speed?
can i have a copy of that basmap?
the gains are going to be like a shot of nitrous for the owner..lol
Can the same steps be done with a chipped obd1 ecu?
Yes. Don't waste money on hondata ecu.
I'm sure you've been asked this hundreds of times, but when are you going to balance both Brotors and Humble?
Why'd it only rev to 5500rpm first pull for baseline?
Skip01 it was a shitty map. Car was breaking up from too much fuel.
How u get the check engine light to go off?
its a
shift light
Gud shit
B20 non VTEC ?
Stock b20 with bolt ons?
Rhonnel Agatep yeah full bolt ons
Alex is ill with tuning 66hp gain!
How much to send me a baseman lol (turbo b20v with 1000cc injectors??
What fuel?
E85 13B - 91 pump
I can learn in thailand.
Hardly hear it! They wont tell u everything! Its their secret! If they go into details, customers will learn to tune themselves and they wont have anymore customers!
👍🔥🔥
👍
Fuel tuning on a k series is more anal then a s300. 😭😭
86hp and they claim they spank 5.0’s at the meets.. lol.. jk..
