I think the in-season tournament was as good as he's been this year. Since then, I haven't seen much improvement. In the final game of the tournament, the Lakers showed that throwing bigger lineups at the Pacers and forcing Hali to exert himself on both sides of the ball was enough to win the game.
this is just my personal opinion but i don’t think tyrese is a great half court offense player, he is pretty good in transition but in a half court offense he isn’t that great of a playmaker, he gets a bunch of assists but most of the passes are either simple passes to the wide open man or “fake” assists where the players create their own shot. If he is able to be as consistent from 3 as in the first half of the season he will be alright but if he struggles like he did in the second half of the season he might be in trouble
No disrespect to Magic obviously, but what made the Lakers of the 80s the "Showtime Lakers" was his passing in transition. Halburton is not the best passer in the league by any means, but that's not a knock on him, as he's only in his 4th season.
haliburton and turner have are number 1 in pick n roll points which is in the half court. He is great in the half court. He is just amazing in transition
Pacers have a top 3 half court offense because of him. No one runs the pick and roll better than him in the half court. The fact that he was able to shoot so poorly for that stretch, and still have the pacers amongst the elite offenses is a testament to how good of a point guard he is
the difference between tyrese and a lot of people is that he knows when not to shoot. If he isn’t shooting well then he won’t force dumb shots

how the hell did you form this opinion when the pacers are in the top 3 best halfcourt offenses
