Yamaha Motor Corp VHS Release of the 1993 Daytona 200 Superbike Race

What a Battle! A proud Yamaha Motor Corp created and sent this video to dealers right after the 1993 race. Good long coverage but the race is condensed to less than a half hour. Eddie Lawson on the Vance & Hines Yamaha. Scott Russell on the Team Muzzy Kawasaki. Other riders include Doug Polen, Miguel Duhamel, Aaron Slight, Colin Edwards, Steve Crevier, Akira Yanagawa, and many others. VHS rip.

I heard the entire engine NIGHTMARE from Eddie while driving out to Las Vegas for the super kart world finals in 1996- the Vance and Hines crew elected to run THEIR motors during practice, qualifying and the races even though Yamaha had sent over a few factory crate engines from Japan- Eddie's last motor blew up in the morning warmup, so the team uncrated and installed one the factory motors that had never been run- the bike was a rocketship according to Eddie and we all saw how fast it was, and neither Colin or Jamie James finished the race, James burned his clutch out on the start, and I'm not sure what happened to Colin - they would have saved themselves alot of headache if they had just installed those factory motors from the beginning, but EGOS got in the way - Eddie's first lap on the bike was the warmup lap, and the rest is history-
