On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.

Knowing how Fincher works Armie Hammer probably have to row for an hour for that shot

The scene at 1:05 just shows how much sound design and sound ambiance can add to a scene. I feel this movie is a great example of all stages of production (pre ,pro and post) add so many layers to a story.

I'd pay to see a film of just David Fincher and Aaron Sorkin working on this film together

1:11 - Rooney is so subtly and quietly pretty.

Oh my god that must've been so awkward trying to dance like a stripper with no music while the actors were literally yelling their lines

It’s great to see being Aaron Sorkin on set, especially giving notes to Actors and Script Supervisor

This movie has absolutely no right being as good as it is. Why do I even love this movie so much? it sure doesn't feel like something I'd usually do.

Did they fill the pub with smoke to increase the images dynamic range? The smoke diffuses the light more.

It can fake a bigger dynamic range for sure, but it also helps create depth in the shot and makes it over all more pleasing to look at :)

I'd hate to work with that director. Every single thing you see on screen is like 70 takes

RockPhonic - VLOGS you should watch interviews on him, doing this allows the actors to not feel limited in their range, gives them more time to dig into the character and create something that feels genuine to the audience. Sure it takes a lot of patience but if you’re in film and not patient it might not be the best industry for them

@@abuhajarstolemyrpg6795 to be fair, some actors do get really annoyed by fincher e.g. rdj during zodiac. i guess it's a directorial style that works for some people and annoys others.

Not that big of an investment if you consider that the film will then live forever. For generations. But if you have no ambitions, well, then leave.
