My hubby is a Vietnam veteran! We married in October 1965, and he got drafted November 1965. Married 57 years now, and I am so proud of him! These guys were special! He would applaud this fellow vet!

I'm 73 yrs old...also a Vietnam Era Veteran. Sgt. U.s. Army. That old fella was actually gentle and kind compared to how I would respond. It's so ridiculous nowdays...it's beyond description. My brother worked with a Vietnam vet who had the ammunition truck he was driving blownout from under him and walked away with out a scratch. At 5'2" you could scare him with anything. If you have sat down with Death and talked and are still alive you deserve respect.

Very few. My oldest stepbrother fought in Vietnam. When he came home, they were told not to wear their uniforms because people hated them. Proud of my brother who chose to wear his anyway.

I work right next door to this star wars store called Selmers. They were fitting Don with a bullet proof vest and he has hired armed security. Tomorrow at 10 supposed to be a protest. All day at work it was honks and thumbs up for Don in support.
Did the vest come from next door at Northwest Surplus or from Grays Harbor Guns on the next block? Both awesome stores run by great people.
