Women players need to learn more basic layup bank shot trajectory, angle, placement, englishing & power, because they rely more frequently on bankshots since women do not have the musculature strength on jumpshots to quickly elevate 1-3 feet vertically higher above a defender like men can do. They are not making enough of their banking layups here, the angles & board placements are still too wild or too strong. That is what women's basketball lacks ... jumpshots ... because they have no hops, on average. Yet their layups are not good either. A rare few can dunk, sure, but it's rare, so that's not even part of this equation. So they need to train more on layup banking. These women's games would be 10-30 points higher if they could make their layups, contested or not.
