- In which the final episode of season 2 hits us with an emotional cocktail filled with feels. Honestly, it was pretty incredible all around, and quite possibly my favorite episode of the show to date.

Steven needs an award for how great his voice acting is, actually insane
Idk about that
He’s just good
@@Souphover Not sure how many anime/cartoons you've watched in english, this is seriously about as good as it gets. Most dubs are horrible, not to mention most english voice acting is pretty much just reading lines.
@@Robert-he3ju oh, no, you’re right this is amazing for a cartoon I was talking about in general
“I thought you were stronger..” Chills everytime bro. The voice acting in this show is perfect
There’s one thing for sure. He will NEVER forget his name again
I thought you were stronger is one of the standout quotes from this series.
There was a an official spider man and invincible crossover comic during this arc in the comics. It was mainly Peter giving mark somone to vent and talk to after dealing with all the craps he’s been though
Worth a read even if you don't like reading the comics, it's short and refreshing
The thing with Invincible and people saying "no one stays dead" is that if a character does die, they stay dead. It's just that in this universe it's really hard to actually kill superpowered people and the writers are usually coming up with clever uses of powers to survive in a way that, at least to me, doesn't feel cheap just more so really cool. Like with Shrinking Rae she breaks all of her bones trying to bust out of the lizard guy, but it makes sense that after failing to get out she would immediately shrink back down and try to think of a way to get out. Same with Kate having a 0 copy that no one else knew about.
Man what did those two poor people do to Angstrom that he just shoved through a multidimensional portal😭
Considering the place they were in, they are probably better off. Except for the whole "never seeing your friends and family for the rest of your life."
Nothing, He just went insane
Maybe they went somewhere better, they looked like they came from a post apocalyptic world.
S1 Episode 8 "She's more like.... a pet"
S2 Episode 8 "I think..... I miss my wife."
Surprisingly, Josh Keaton reprises role as Spider-Man (sort of) and a miss opportunity for Kevin Conroy to play Batman again after his passing
Fuck you for making me sad about Conroy again 😭
@@missconstruct6968sorry, but yeah I would’ve loved him to make an appearance in invincible
well no, he had no lines in the comics anyways
Imagine him saying 'I am Vengeance' to Mark. Would have been greatest thing ever
@@TheTidalBreeze
He did actually
fun fact the thing mark hits angstrom with when going though the portal is a gun from the Fortnite universe and the creator even said mark went though the loop took the weapon and came back to sell this even further marks skin was in the item shop (the day this ep released) which in fn lore means people wh o leave the loop leave a snapshot of themselves which then becomes part of the item shop
Source for the creator statement?
@@soul6733 I'll go looking for it but I will point out according to a Fortnite leaker they were planning it with the old story maker for Fortnite a year and a half ago before they retired
@@soul6733 No need. Thats a "Dragon's Breath Sniper Rifle". If you want you can google it.
The voice actor for agent spider in this episode is actually Josh Keaton
That final line is a quote from the comics, it's a crazy moment. Where he really starts to realize he's changed.
This episode is telling you to get back to reacting to Spider-Man.
Danganronpa, then Vinland Saga. then Spider-Man. There's an order
@@thechimpmasterThe last time he dropped Danganronpa the next videos were Somnium files, Gintama and invincible. I don't think there's a order anymore.
@@thechimpmaster Lmao, his last videos are Invincible, Gintama, Invincible, Murder Drones, Gintama, Kaguya-sama, SpyxFamily, Invincible, there is no order.
@@HotDogTimeMachine385 read his channel description. There is still some method to the madness
Shut up
I thought you were stronger... I thought you were ... INVINCIBLE DUN DUN DUN!
Lol nice
Nothing like some Shark after the eclipse.
Facts bro
"This show never fails to disappoint" 😂
Normally id be mad about her being alive, but when i knew about her power i always thought she could leave a copy alive just in case, so it does make LOTS of sense to me
"I thought you were stronger...." Best line in the entire show so far.
I must say, pay close attention to all of Rudy's interactions with Monster Girl in this season because they are VERY important, it lays the groundwork for his character for the rest of the series.
"Invincible never fails to disappoint" 😂
Idk why that is such a common mistake for ppl to make.
Fun fact: the gun Mark hits Angstrom with is from Fortnite, making the Fortnite crossover canon.
0:30 never fails to disappoint 😭
This was such a good finale and I can’t wait for the insanity season three will bring. Which as you could probably tell there was copyright safe Spider-Man, Dr. Octopus, and Batman in this episode. Which in the comics they were the characters, and there was even a crossover issue of Spider-Man with Invincible.
Which if anyone wants to read the crossover it was in Marvel Team-Up volume four.
@@caseyp5861 volume 3 chapter 14
Imagine if Omni Man/Nolan Grayson and Spider-Man/Peter Parker meet each other in both the comics & animated series? I hope JK Simmons interacted with Josh Keaton behind the scenes.
Sheesh, this family sharing a black eye. Hopefully season 3 won’t be a long wait
Damn angstrom coulda just sent all viltrumites to another dimension if he wanted to lol.
He should’ve just sent all the evil viltrumites to one dimension.
I had the same reaction to this episode, absolutely fantastic.
Btw the show is planned to have around 6-7 seasons but as of now it's only been renewed up to 3. As of season 2 the show covers about a third of the original comics story so it makes sense
And so we reach the end of S2.
FUN FACTS: in the comics, Mark did meet Batman, Spiderman, even the Avengers. You can also see when Mark return with a surprise attack, he actually hit Levy with a Fortnite weapon.
Now I'll say that while I have issues with this season, like the average animation quality, or some of the changes done to comics version, I still believe it had plenty of good to great moments and I really hope s3 will come sooner. No spoilers, but depending on how they will divide future seasons and how they will execute it, this one will be "the least good season".
Sidenote: I'm a bit disappointed that the title card was just a...rather pointless tease in this season.
I mean, obviously they’re gonna be some slight changes from the comics to the show. but since Robert Kirkman is the one producing the show, it has been able to stay very close to the source material with some slight changes here and there
@@blue_lightning33 Not saying all the changes were bad. On the opposite, for the most part, I did like them. But there were a few who I didn't like.
The animation was a bit disappointing but I feel like they were saving it for the next season… this season (while great) covered the boring character setup/growth of the comics. Rewatch the atom eve special… that’s what every second of season 3 HAS to look like. That fighting and animation was PEAK…
@@TheGalekGames The animation was mostly awful, but that's fine. What bothered me more was some really weak dialogue and stuff that really didn't make sense, particularly around episode 5 as many conversations are extremely truncated after Mark's return.
@@fredwin that aswell… I seriously think they kind of held back on this season and saved amazons budget for s3… from a writers perspective why invest all that limited budget into a character growth/setup season… or throw majority into the BIG fights and story arcs/plot points. I just hope they can do what they did with the atom eve special where the animations and writing was like “perfection” ✨✍️
Super hype for this one
Funfact: in comics version Invincible actually met the real Spider-Man in Marvel Team ups
That Eve is FUTURE Eve
I'm glad that Cecil talked to Mark
“I miss my wife, Allen.”
This episode genuinely blew me away and I'm so glad you enjoyed it a lot as well.
I swear you're so underrated dude I love your reactions I've been watching you since the Steven universe finale , I just wanna say thanks for uploading !! it's always a pleasure watching stuff with you
I've been waiting so long for this video
Caught up with these last night, just in time
This is my review for Invincible:
When I read the finale title, I expected Levy to be the one telling Mark "I thought you were stronger" not vice versa. His family has been through so much just because their father is a viltrumite. It's really not fair what happens to Mark, as Eve tells him when they meet at the bridge. He really don't deserve this. And I get the impression that Mark can't tell Eve right now how he feels about her, like her version of the future told him. For several reasons.
1) His life is too chaotic right now and the water is too murky, he needs to settle down a little until the water is clear. As Mark said, he wants to learn to control himself. 2) After everything he's been through with Amber, he needs time for his broken heart to start beating, leading to
3) He'll think of any future girlfriend as a source that others can use as a weapon against him, and he'll know they'll never be safe.
In the fight scene, towards the end, we see what Mark can be, and he knows this too, a true Viltrumit, but I suspect that his goal will not be this, but to be Invincible, to shoulder all the pain and suffering, to train his body and mind and to know EXACTLY how much force to use, without having to kill. THIS WILL BE ALL HIS TORMENT, HIS TRUE BATTLE. THE STRUGGLE TO BECOME A TRUE WARRIOR (like Thor and Thorfinn from Vinland Saga). He was afraid of becoming a killer, like all the other viltrumites he met and especially his father.
Now he have to live with Angstrom Levy's death and try to make difficult choices.
Anyway, I don't blame Mark, I'm on Cecil's side. HE DID EVERYTHING HE COULD TO PROTECT HIS FAMILY. He even tried peace first, until he lost control.
59:10 Think about wife… regret
An eclipse and the finale reaction. Today is a really good day
All right!! The Star player reactor has arrived
So as many mentioned, in the comic it WAS spider-man and dock ock, it was an official crossover beetween spider-man and invincible in a comic series called "Marvel: team up" where a marvel heroe would have crossover's with charscthers from other comic editorials, and it just so happened that good old pete got the best crossover of them all. Sadly it seems we won't see anything of that since it is obvious that amazon wouldn't even consider paying royalties to disney, especially knowing they didn't even bothered getting Kirkman's other characthers like tech jacket and science dog.
Rewatching it with you… I can just really appreciate how great this episode was… Like just the scene of him flying and recapping his experience with his dad… it was genuinely a recap and had no “new content”, but it had a lot of emotional impact still… this series is just so good…
“I thought you were stronger”
“You weren’t there”
I've been waiting for this!
Doing the math - if able, there should be about 7 seasons all together.
No one wins in Mark’s situation. No protecting, no vengeance none of that saves ANY part of this. All you have is a LOT of hurt people in an unimaginable amount of pain. And if there IS an afterlife Aangstrom won’t be ok in ANY reality.
Poor Old Eve put current Eve in a REALLY rough position and Mark being the ultimate decider only makes things worse. That’s a hard situation for ANYONE. Much more for 2 teenagers.
Mark is slowly changing 🔥👍
The Spider-Man sequence was actually a whole crossover comic that started with Mark flying through that portal. It had the actual Marvel heroes in it. Of course, I believe that was before Disney owned Marvel. I blame Disney (at least partially) for this show having to use legally distinct versions of those characters.
The version from the show Ultimate Spider-Man has done the multiverse thing twice, even more so outside his own show.
The music choices and background music added to the scenes as well. The background music that played during future Eve's confession to Mark added so much mood to the scene Even as Eve was talking strong you felt her saddness.
I can't believe I never noticed that General Kreeg has the same VA as Lex Luthor from Justice League
It's got to be a troll that his name is pronounced Kreeg but spelled Kregg.
I miss my wife, tails, I miss her a lot.
So I assume that when Mark vanished for 20 years the Guardians of the Globe were looking for the dimension he is in the entire time, then found it and found that stranded 20 years older Mark who "You wouldnt have liked who youd become" then went BACK in time and went into the portal again or the portal both took them 20 years into the past and teleported them into the correct dimension, then opened another one sending that original Mark back in time to his original dimension, basically altering their own timeline? Since Rex says that they are trying not to damage the timestream too much, or their timeline remains intact and a new one just starts where Mark didnt vanish for 20 years.
This show got me sounding like a madman lol
I haven't read the comic and don't even know if it's addressed but I'm going to assume Mark is long gone from Earth and had made his way to other planets to assumedly find food and/or other civilizations.
It's a shame that Invincible couldn't get the official Spider-Man crossover like in the comics in the 2000s. I bet Sony would have given Amazon the green light for that.
For those who don't know, Disney has the television rights of Spider-Man cartoons since 2009. While Sony just got the movie rights back from them in 2020.
Awesomesauce
I was behind mark 101% In beating angstrom Levy to death; absorbing a hundred minds as a result of the accident may have drove him insane but it still didn't justify his despicable behavior towards mark and his family and no matter what YOU NEVER MESS WITH A PERSON'S FAMILY!!!! he showed himself to be too far gone and he needed to be stopped so mark did really good FINALLY cutting loose with an enemy for once and I'm so looking forward to more of that.
48:20 Even cursed mummies can't escape the nonsense of an overzealous woke gen z'er; like why the hell would you find that loophole offensive knowing full well that is the very thing that's keeping you from getting possessed by a freaking mummy! Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💯🔥😁😉👍
They are definetly not having s break between season again, there will be a riot if there is 😂
I literally checked earlier and thought “where’s the video” then it pops up an hour later 👌
"Yep"
Agent Spider is actually voiced by a previous Spider-Man actor. Josh Keaton from Spectacular Spider-Man. You might remember for his cameo in ATSV.
Hell yeah just watched the eclipse and then I open my phone to see this video!
I’m super suspicious about the “real” Kate. With all the stuff about Donald and that college Kid, I thought maybe “Kate” is actually some kind of Ceicil’s clone/robots so that immortal may rejoin the team
God I hope something stupid like that doesn’t happen. At first when she died I thought it was just bad writing because anyone with that power that has more than half a brain cell would think to leave back ups away from the fight.
@@revolution2762
True, but then again, I actually like when shows aren’t afraid to totally kill off characters. It kinda cheapens it when all the characters we think are dead are somehow miraculously alive
@@yams.4308 From what I’ve seen ppl saying, the girl with the shrinking powers dies in that scene in the comics so everyone miraculously being alive is only because they changed that. They must have some kind of plan with her or something cuz it wouldn’t make sense to rewrite the story to keep her alive unless they had plans to develop her character more.
@@revolution2762 ooh ok I see! That makes sense
I love the fact We get GREAT mature animated TV shows nowadays. Between those cartoons (Invincible, Arcane, etc) and mangas. A lot of great stuff !
Honestly I feel like you should make extra videos of you just talking about your thoughts on shows/episodes after the initial reaction so you have time to gather your thoughts better. Especially after episodes like this one, there is lots to talk about.
"This show never fails to disappoint." 😂
I think Season 2 overall is better, but the finale of S1 is still peak of Invincible for me
Yeah this episode was stellar, but nothing hit me as hard as "I'd still have you"
If they stuck to the comics they'd have kissed in the Sequid arc
Well coming from someone who doesnt know much about comics
This will only include show
We saw rudy use his robots as suit
So he could send rex on a mission using his suit so techicnly both could been there and alive
So it seems like I'm in minority in thinking that they should have swapped episodes 7 and 8 around. Like I expected nothing out of Levy, and as much as him getting killed by Mark opens up very interesting character development he's not really finale material to me. I didn't expect him to be able to do anything, and frankly most of the times the show reminded us he still exists I was like "oh yeah, forgot about that guy" and after watching the episode, I honestly still felt like it's an interesting side story, but Annisa is a lot more of a finale event. But again, looking at the comments it seems everyone else thought the episode was a great finale
Do not worry. This being the finale is necessary for what is to come next season.
48:46 Mark kinda looks like Generator Rex right here
Yippee
sometimes I wish my pet doggies as well. Jokes aside what a crazy way to end the season, gaddamn, he's rly changed from season 1 to 2
If they continue the pace they are going, we should expect 6-8 seasons based on how much is left in the comics, but Robert Kirkman has talked about extending it further past that, since there is a lot of content alluded to in the comics that they decided not to show, but if they have enough audience interest, they may go for 10-ish seasons.
Damn, I'll probably be dead before this show ends
Don't worry everyone, a season finale is here!
That's not a good thing
I can't believe they finished the title sequence without showing what it means
Note the spider man guy was originally spider man in the comics version
I thought Mark being stranded would be the end the Future guardians and Kate Prime reveal happening in season 3 yeah for Comic reader many thought Kate was alive
God, I’m trying so hard not to give spoilers away for the later seasons. Let’s just say the coming seasons are crazy
How do ur vids not get taken down when u react to the entire episode on camera?
yessir
Shark needs to watch Blue Eye Samurai
yessssssssss
i think the smarter way to ''fix'' Amanda's problem is to stay in the ogre form for a week each time she transform. I know that's not the more convenient or easy way, but that would make her transformations ever-available.
you only have 52 weeks in a year, and if you see her size compare to Rudy she seems at least 1 year younger through this season, and this season happens in the span of aprox 6 months, so she transforms at least 2 times per week, at that rate she has 2 or 3 years before her brain starts to under-develop as her child brain cant hold the fuctions her pubert brain can.
If she stays for a week as an ogre she at least will stay at the same age and therefore keep fighting in the long future. Personally, i think thats why we see her future self in the ogre form while visiting mark in the sand dimention (she wouldnt fight somebody right away so having a previous transformation doesnt makes sense), i dont see any other way she could keep that 2 transformations per week for 20 fucking years (that would rest her 40 years aprox and she already had a 14 y/o body in the first season, and a 13 y/o body in this season).
Either that or you find a way she can age faster while in human form to compensate, but that requieres resources they dont have. I dont think erasing the curse or the ogre form is a good idea, first because she wouldnt be able to fight, second, because the ogre have regenerative abilities, and last, because when you think about it that curse could make her potentially inmortal in age, as she could prevent aging once in an adult enough body and achieve eternal youth.
Yay🙂
you should watch spectacular spider man the guy who voiced agent spider in this was the voice actor for spider man in that show its the best animated spider man show next to the one your watching now
Let's gooo

Looks like I'm gonna have to wait another couple years with people saying Levy was a waste with not enough screentime until they reveal that Levy isn't dead and is the catalyst for one of the most important arcs in the series later on.
Pls watch Fire Breather♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I want to mention this was the part of the comics that were the most boring, it’s only up from this point… next season will 10000000% top season 1 if they do the important things and don’t hold back
pls ping pong next
I hope that you watch "Fruits Basket" next, since you finish this show.
It is something I can see him watching but it wouldn't replace this. He only does western shows outside of his rotation.
It could replace Kaguya when that's over
I miss my wife Allen

Honestly Angstrom was such a disappointment they didn't flushed out his character & his scene time is bad enough mark has no idea who this guy was they should have waited next season to be more.
I would be honest, I feel this eposide is mid, but Shark amazing reaction hyped me up as well!
Levy was the ultimate buildup for the Ultimate fucking dogshit finale LOL
The best part of this episode was the omniman parts. The rest was dog
Lol, Lmao even
Delusion 😂
the future guardians bailing him out is honestly the worst ex-machina ive seen in a long time not even gonne lie, its a fairy tail level of "you thought that had consequences? SIKE no it doesnt" you cant make that shit up
