@Hernandez10052 The Second Amendment (right to bear arms) isn't an inalienable right. Inalienable rights, as defined by the Constitution, are rights the government may not provide or take away. These are, specifically, the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (not the guarantee of happiness).
It is still illegal to ignore an amendment to the Consitution, however. The only way it is legal to ignore an amendment to the Constitution is to create an amendment that nullifies the original amendment (for example, prohibition and the amendment nullifying prohibition).
Realistically, though, it will not happen (not that I want it to, I'd love to get my first gun at some point soon). Before the new substation went active police response time was 24.5 minutes from the time of the 911 call to arriving on scene.
Now they are down to 6.5 minutes, but that is still too long if you have an intruder in your home.
The police in my area are highly in favor of citizens exercising their second amendment rights.

We do not have to justify whether we need a gun or not. We have the God given RIGHT to bear arms. The government can’t tell us yes or no. The constitution was designed and put in place to RESTRICT the government from abusing their power. Our founding fathers understood government and human nature very well. It was up to us, we the people to treasure and protect this unique form of government and the constitution. We the people failed miserably to safeguard this treasure of liberty. Adding the gun laws from each state with the federal laws and the number exceeds 20k!!! And they still want to add more laws. Criminals do not recognize honor or fear laws. They do fear the constitution though! It was not put in place to restrict we the people. We are the the only country in the world with a 2nd amendment. If you don’t like our values and laws, please pick another country instead of ruining this one.

I live in a rural area, usually there's about 2 officers on duty and they can be as far as 60 km away at time's, as well the police response can vary from 10 minutes to an hour, these people living in the city who want to ban guns have absolutely no idea how that will affect me, my family, or my livestock, because the way I see it I absolutely need a firearm because I can't rely on a police service that can't be there faster than how long it takes me to grab my firearm and load it
And you will have alot of situations where you need a rifle as well as a hand gun. 2nd Amendment forever. And the rest of them too.
Its really no different in a city. The station closest to my apartment in dallas is 3 miles away and it takes 45 minutes to an hour for an officer to show up.
