Brings back great Memories. I was on Norwegian this cruise with my then living father. It sailed out of Charleston SC Dec 6 2003, and was in Cozumel on the 10th. This ship was later sold by Norwegian and became the Louis Majesty. The ship was hit by a Rouge Wave in Spain ''also on you tube'' and I think 3 or 4 people died that cruise from the Wave.
Alot of people dont know this lol, but the horn signals got meanings lol, 3 horn blasts means "i am reversing", and one long horn blast means "im taking a blind turn". And the tunes or one short blast has to be used when ships r within half a mile of eachother.
If I'm right, the NORWEGIAN MAJESTY was the ROYAL MAJESTY with Majesty Cruise Line a subsidiary of Dolphin Cruise Line. We sailed on her as the ROYAL MAJESTY on a 3 day cruise out of Miami to Nassau and back. A marvelous ship. Food and service was great.
Does anyone remeber the huge storm in Bermuda, they gave the seven short blast followed by a long blast? I tought we gone die in that night... two huge windows broke at 5th deck by a huge wave, some guests in front of the window were very injured, and the water came in the ship and gone down till the 2nd floor, were we had the cabins?

Yes it was sold by Norwegian. And became to Louis Majesty ''also on you tube''....Same ship was hit by a wave and a few were killed on board..
