Played this for my mom in a nursing home. Do to covid I can't bring her home or hold like I want to. She heard the rythm and sounds like she remembered from her island, St Vincent. She began to rock her head and clap hands. God is good ALL THE TIME. Music heals the soul. Thank you so much. I need to purchase this CD. ❤🙌🏽

Sorry I have been enjoying your music so long and not commented to show my appreciation. I watch it while riding my stationary bicycle, every day, for at least one hour. Doctors orders, I am 82 and the Doc says to keep limber, ride the bike or seize up. The only problem I have is keeping UTube playing your videos, but I am managing, and not complaining as I have it pretty good during this Virus. Thanks for sharing.

When I was eight years old I lived in Bermuda and our next door neighbors had a steel band named the Esso Steel band. We were very good friends and I spent time watching and listening to them. It’s a very special memory about a really friendly family.

This Sunday morning in this cold country, sun shining at 7.58am and I’m cooking stewed chicken and red beans and rice. You can guess where I’m originally from. Steel rhythms is what I’m listening to this morning. Love my steel drums. As a child going to school at El Socorro North Government school, I used to hear the boys practicing up the road for the upcoming carnival and I loved it so much. Really nice. I have a steel pan I am getting back into. I am in S.Fla. I went the local guru to get my drum tuned. The dude is from Trinidad and he showed me a pic when he was the group f about 10 players that toured wih Liberace about the late 60s. They r on youtube. It was a great hang watching him work tuning the drum and shooting the breeze.

I was first exposed to steelpan music during the summer of 1996 when I was 14. Our family usually dined at Dock Holidays in North Myrtle Beach, SC and they always had a steel band performing nearly every Friday & Saturday. Great food & great music while watching the boats pass by on the intercoastal waterway... This music brings back those happy memories. Have y'all ever performed with Andy Narell?

I first heard steel pan drums during our Caribana Festival in downtown Toronto, ON CANADA. Then I heard it on an Western Caribbean cruise at a cruise port in either Belize or Roatan, Honduras. This is very lively and happy music. Just heard a beautiful concert with Harry Belafonte--may he rest in peace. I wanted to hear Caribbean steel pan music before going to bed in Toronto, ON CANADA.😃😃😃😍🤩😍

We just saw you do a little show at the Weymouth High School food truck Friday thing yesterday. It was so pleasant. A mix of relaxing, yet feeling the need to move my body. I noticed you put the steel drum away when you were on break. I'll bet that's from experience of people just wanting to come up and hit it.

That is where education, or rather high school education will be evolving in the near future anyway. Your music is relaxing and helps encourage focus and positivity. :)

I was first exposed to steelpan music during the summer of 1996 when I was 14. Our family usually dined at Dock Holidays in North Myrtle Beach, SC and they always had a steel band performing nearly every Friday & Saturday. Great food & great music while watching the boats pass by on the intercoastal waterway... This music brings back those happy memories. Have y'all ever performed with Andy Narell?

I first heard steel pan drums during our Caribana Festival in downtown Toronto, ON CANADA. Then I heard it on an Western Caribbean cruise at a cruise port in either Belize or Roatan, Honduras. This is very lively and happy music. Just heard a beautiful concert with Harry Belafonte--may he rest in peace. I wanted to hear Caribbean steel pan music before going to bed in Toronto, ON CANADA.😃😃😃😍🤩😍

We just saw you do a little show at the Weymouth High School food truck Friday thing yesterday. It was so pleasant. A mix of relaxing, yet feeling the need to move my body. I noticed you put the steel drum away when you were on break. I'll bet that's from experience of people just wanting to come up and hit it.
Hi Jay! Thanks for coming and then checking out our channel! We appreciate it. Yes- that can happen at certain events, but also the sun had broken through the clouds at that point and was beating on the drum. It's bad for the instrument to be in sunlight so it was best to just tuck it away :)

That is where education, or rather high school education will be evolving in the near future anyway. Your music is relaxing and helps encourage focus and positivity. :)
