All Of Us Strangers is my favourite film of the year by a country mile, even if I spent most of the film sobbing (but I knew that going in, what with me being a queer writer with dead parents). Next Goal Wins is far better as a documentary.
Gigli gave us Bennefer and J-Lo's most recent cringefest of an album where every track is her gushing over how much she's obsessed with him so I can't watch it the same way any more haha (And yes I am WELL UP FOR releasing the breasts... cut)
Spaceman was a bit too long, but American Fiction was a really nice surprise.
