French Revolution Class 9 History | Full chapter in Hindi | CBSE

The French People went against their King Louis XVI on 14th July 1789, it was the outbreak of the French Revolution. The people were protesting against the high prices of bread and the tyrannic rule of the monarch. the Jacobins took over the government of France and some days later, Louis XVI was executed and the queen met the same fate days after.
This revolution gave birth to three concepts, Equality, Liberty and Fraternity. Equality among people regardless of their status, they got equal rights and also, they would get equal opportunities. Liberty that no authority can impose unfair rules on the people. Fraternity among the people of the country, love for the citizen.
Let us take a look on the events that led to this revolution and get to know what were the new rules, laws and how was France governed after the new government came into effect.
