You are the BEST. I’m a mother of 3 kids and have decided to give the GED as I’m from a different country so my high school diploma doesn’t work here. Because of your videos I just passed my RLA exam and now on to Maths. So I can’t thank you enough.please keep the videos rolling.
You can do it girl! I plan to have mines before March & I’m determined to work everyday & study for it! I’m really nervous, but that’s what these videos are for, using our resources as best as we can. I have a four year old son & I wanna make more money for him & take up a trade. All it takes is persistence & patience. We got this! If you took it yet congratulations & if not I’m routing for you 💓

The easiest way I found to do the Percentage % Change or converting Decimals into %. E.g.(746-535=211) now take (211÷746×100) and this will give you the 28% without the Percentage symbol, but it will move the decimal over 2 places, like instructors stated. Remember take the Decmial number and multiply (*) by 100.
i find doing question three easier if you just divide it. 116/4=29. then minus 4 because 8 is both sides together and we are only trying to find one side. so 29-4=25. thats the W. 25+25=50. 116-50 is 66. 66/2=33
If you find a way that's working for you and you're getting the right answers, then definitely stick to it! In math, there's usually more than one way to get an answer and it sounds like you're doing a good job. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Also, what kind of equation is this one in #5: 79=80x-6/x I'm trying to look up problems like this so I can become familiar with how to solve them. Thanks again!
Also, I have another question regarding #5. When you divided the equation 79=80x-6 by x and then, multiplied each side by x, how come the x didn't cancel out the 80x and make it 80. I thought the equation would look like: 79x=80-6x, not 79x=80x-6. May you please expound. Thanks and have a blessed day!
Yeah that problem was tricky I didn’t even think about combining equations translation between the two gets lost easily definitely need to work more on questions like this one
Hello! I have a question for #4. I thought 20,200 was supposed to be squared, as well. How come a and be are squared, but not the total, as well? Thank you and please get back to me as soon as you can! *I'm now writing this from my account, not my mom's, so may you please respond to this one, thanks!
Hi, consider the formula a^2 + b^2 = c^2. We must square a and square b to get c^2. However, we don't want c^2. We just want to find the value of c. So we must take the square root to get the value of c. Does that make sense? Basically, the goal at that point in the problem is to find what c equals. The formula tells us that if we square a and square b, we get c^2. So we have to find c^2 first, and then once we take the square root, it gives us c.
this is really stressful because on the exam you cant just spend minutes trying to write down and figure out the answer like shown where it took up the whole page, we will need to solve it quickly but finding the answer requires in-depth calculating i guess

Hi, thanks for watching and sorry if watching this was a bad experience for you. I take feedback from viewers very seriously and have used it to make changes before. This video is several years old, and I've made multiple changes to how I make videos since it was released. That being said, sorry again for the extra talking. I would never intend to throw anyone off. Thanks again for watching and good luck on your test.

hi, because a + b values are squared makes the answer squared.
Question 2 is wrong if you check and multiply the answer by 3 it only comes up to 2100 not 3100. The answer should be something around $1031.6
I checked the math and it is correct. Not sure where you messed up but hope you get it figured out!
Thank you. The answers is correct as I have it. Please show me your work, and I'll try to help you however I can.
