- Memorable win in Rome against a team containing Crespo, Simeone, Nedved, Salas, Veron and several established Italian internationals. Leeds were missing Batty and Ferdinand while Kewell was only a late sub.

Mark Viduka one of the most underrated players of our history.
you a leeds fan
Marko Viduka here haha
Viduka destroyed Liverpool at Elland Road with all 4 goals.
Viduka 4 Liverpool 3
We were 0-2 down as well, what a game of football that was. Leeds were one of the best team's in Europe and the PL and played exciting football!
ive seen all the greats and viduka is up there
What a bloody brilliant team we had then. Such great times. Hopefully the squad we have now can be as good as these Dudes... Mot
Absolutely the most perfect assist to goal
Viduka &Smith
Perfection!🤟🤟🤟😃😃😃😃
Berbatov used to remind me a lot of M. Viduka. This Aussie was such an underrated player and this is coming from a Manchester United fan.
Fun Fact: Mark Viduka is Luka Modric's cousin. His fam are immigrants from Croatia to Australia. I knew there was no way a native Aussie was that good at football, no offense lol.
He grew up in Australia not Croatia, heard he played a little cricket? but unfortunately for england there were many cricket players better than him to play for OZ. 🤣@@Mad_Intalect
I remember watching this on TV at the time and , for me, it was the first time a British side looked as easy on the ball and as skilful as a European side, before that you could tell the difference, but this game it looked like two foreign sides playing againxt each other.
Viduka class!
Crazy that it was a champions league game and the lazio stadium looked half empty.
viduka one of those magic players who make up for a lack of agility with total skills/flair. Alongside Berbatov, Le Tissier, Van Persie etc
Great play from Viduka.
came for Leeds, stayed for Lazio.. Crespo, Veron, Nedved, Nesta... oh my, what a team that was!
leeds a bigger club than lazio
thks for posting this
so many ball playing members of the team = where did it all go so wrong.
what a trip that was
When leeds utd more dangerous than duo manchester
Is this match that cost Sven his job? I know he was due to leave to take the England job but I’ve a feeling he started a lot earlier than originally planned
What a player viduka
The most interesting thing is that Leeds United, who became the English champions in 1992, after failing to join to the Champions League in the 1992-93 season, made up for it by playing in the semi-finals when they joined the Champions League in the 2000-01 season
They played in the Champions league or European cup in 1992/93. They literally played against Stuttgart and Rangers (Who knocked them out).
@@ay613 knocked by G. Rangers, i want it to say that, They eliminated at second round in that season(1992-93) and didn't participated to Group phase.
@@zekigoktug9625 Ah okay
