Something that really helped me to get over it was the realization that I never actually liked it. Doing it just got rid of the withdrawal and cravings which were uncomfortable. Each session literally creates the need for the next one.
People who aren't addicted don't feel relief from doing it because it doesn't actually provide relief.
Just like smoking doesn't actually relieve stress, it relieves cravings and withdrawal symptoms. It actually increases stress long term.

This one really opens me up. I can feel the guilt and shame of being a weak pmo'ing man over the last couple years near the end of my last relationship. So much lusting and desiring for sex that I totally lost my masculine frame and wasn't able to be a reliable leading force for that woman. I'm certain she could feel the low vibrations emanating from me and I'm certain my lack of ojas was turning her off...I'm coming to surrender with knowing all that and building myself up from the ashes of a destroyed ego. 45 days of semen retention with a high aim to be a virtuous man and build a solid foundation of spiritual cultivation work.

    Thanks for the insights,
Haven't been watching for the past week, drank far too much alcohol on day 246 and relapsed twice, been non stop kicking myself, on day 6-7 again but just frustrated relapsing just when college is starting and wondering just how much more difficult everything is going to be had that not happened, trying to keep the social skills and eye contact going, part of the journey I suppose!

@@thuo1000 thanks very much, and it changed my life, the way I think and everything about me to be honest,
I was very damaged from a bad relationship, isolation and losing family during the pandemic, couldn’t look anyone in the eyes really,
The way I walk and talk changed, I stopped drinking coffee and stopped smoking weed which I never thought I would even want to.
I became quite spiritual, praying at least every morning and night, my eye contact has become better than most people, I got jobs I didn’t think I would get before, I have managed to drag myself up from the gutter and my friend said he took inspiration about me managing to make a come back,
I injured myself a couple times which messed things up a little since I couldn’t get all the energy transmuted, yes I should have transmuted it more creatively, I’ve become more self aware and believe I could have mild autism or possibly ADHD so I’m waiting for tests,
I was very happy with good energy at points, it didn’t give me everything automatically it still takes a lot of effort putting myself out the comfort zone, I still hold a lot of anxiety and unhealthy thinking patterns but the progress made was substantial but still I’m not as pleased as I should be about it because I hyper focus on negatives and shoulda woulda couldas even though I know I shouldn’t think like this.

Retention makes you more energetically intelligent. Here, our friend talks about level and detection.... higher being etc. My level on retention is intuition about females who i meet on a daily basis. I know which ones want to have a baby with me, but more than likely want child support soon after. I know which ones are energy zapping jezabels, who only want to be fussed over and cause distruption. A higher level makes you consciously aware and accurate in your assessments, so you dont get taken for a ride. Retention is an anti-virus for the mind and radar of protection for the soul.

From personal experience i feel like the long streaks make anxiety stronger, and stress becomes more apparent, falling asleep takes longer.
    What do you think?
Do you do it naturally (without stimulation), or are you completely avoiding it?
I don't think that pushing further than 30 days is helpful, what do you think would be proper intervals?.

    • @JensVanDeAarde
      @JensVanDeAarde 2 роки тому +5

i feel that this anxiety of "long streaks" and the stress builds up because you still think about
      „what if i‘m failing“, „what if i relapse“
and you even count the days which makes it even more pressured
      once you feel comfortable
let’s say like after a week or two weeks without wasting your seed
      just go on naturally
      no counting days…
observe your thoughts that want to manipulate you
„what if i fail?“ is just a thought
it’s like a dark cloud in the sky
let it pass and focus on your body instead of your thinking…
      personally
i relapsed yesterday i feel not so good
      my nervous system is down
but i still have the will and the vision of ending this battle and ending this constant wasting
of the strongest force in this world…

I recommend investing in an acupressure mat. They are miraculous.
Get off the caffeine and power through to 90 days and you will eventually not care about how many days, ever. You will have a breakthrough with regards to pressure and anxiety. It will dissipate. Retention will become part of your existence. Just like you don’t count the days you have blood in your system.. it’s just there forever renewing and generating. Cold water therapy / cold showers are also excellent in circulating energy and healing the body and mind on this journey.
      🙏🏻

What do I do if I am too forgiving of when I slip up? I used to have a lot of guilt after pmo but now I understand that it doesn't really do anything to implicate those thoughts and feelings on myself. I am ready to be done but it still hasn't been put down. I am so conscious of how losing my semen and energy is not worth it at all but fro some reason I just don't fight the urge to a point. If I am laying in bed doing nothing I just know it will happen and its not worth fighting it. I know consciously that this is stunting my progress towards realization but I get too relaxed about it all since the energy of retention creates a lot of load on the system. All of those thoughts about why its great to be off pmo just aren't there when I need them, before I relapse.
