I watched a few other reviews of her styling products and one influencer asked someone from Pattern about using the strong hold gel for wash n gos and they suggested not to or using only a little on top of their curl cream. The influencer then looked at the ingredients list and saw an ingredient (I can’t remember the ingredient name) that is known to cause build up and flaking so that’s probably why they advice against and don’t advertise it being used for wash n gos. Since it looked like you didn’t put too much on your hair that’s probably why you didn’t experience any flaking and your wash n go came out nicely 😊

Agreed the shampoo was drying for my hair but the leave in was my favorite product.
I can't beleive I just discovered this Channel..I luv her! I am at a transition phase and her techniques are bomb.. I have the Same concerns with root frizz.. Will definately watch all her videos like asap!

def try the new clarifying shampoo! it's better than the original shampoo! The curl gel is a soft hold so add a different gel you like on top! Also most edge brushes come with a comb side lol. the comb is to swoop/style them!

So I tried the styling cream on a piece of hair because of curiosity. Not gonna do my whole head until after grilling my food tomorrow. I think it expanded after coming in contact with water. So the cream will go a long way. Made my hair straight as a board like yours. Can’t wait to try the conditioner and the leave in with it on wash day. While trying it out I noticed that the letters on my jar started smearing. I’ve watched a lot of other tutorials nobody said anything about their package design smearing off the jar from wet hands. Reminded me of using a ink pen that needed to dry but you accidentally touched it and it started to smear. Had anyone else had this problem? I brought straight from Pattern it’s no knock off. But had black ink on my hands some. Other then that I liked the way my hair looks. Just wished she picked a better fragrance

It’s necessary sometimes. I have very thick hair and I need to use a lot. It also depends on your porosity
High porosity hair will absorb literally litres of product

I need that Denman paddle brush! I just bought the travel size of the Pattern Beauty leave-in and the travel size of their strong hold gel. I love their styling cream which I also have in travel size! I need that edge brush! I have the hair pik which I love! I need the bigger sizes of the hair products. Beautiful results!

@@preetidas9511 uhh not really lol well out of everything in the line the only things i use in my routine still are the “intensive” conditioner and the styling gel. But the gel mixed with the styling cream from the same line makes very bad flakes when mixed together for some reason! Try the mini products before investing in the larger ones! 💕

Looks really great !! I’m going to use the leave in conditioner then styling cream then the gel . Without the gel My wash in go lasted about 2 days with just using the styling cream . Your hair came out really beautiful ☺️

you should try the medium conditioner. i have the same girl type as you and i think it works better. the coily one is more for like 4c.

Honestly, the most frustrating part for me is that to this day I still don't know/ have a good strategy for separating my hair run my brush through it. Freaking technique. Like do I got front to back, bottom to top? Technique is the missing piece I'm looking forrrr lol 😒
