    You're a life saver. I took my pocket watch to three jewelry stores at the mall, and not single "watch" repairman had a clue on how to remove the movement. One guy at one of those jewelry stores is just a battery changer. I came home frustrated, found your video and walla. Thanks again! I really appreciate it.

    This is great! I have an old Elgin watch and the case was a Keystone like yours, but i was not sure how to get it all together safely.

    I really enjoyed watching this video , I think my new hobby is trying to repair old pocket watches for fun
    it just seems interesting ,I have already tore apart a pocket watch I found while metal detecting (Ingersol Yankee)

    You will do damage with a screw driver use a dedicated watch knife

    Are you showing people to push the case past the latch to snap it closed? I thought if you didn't first depress the crown you could damage the case.

    How are you sir, my closing clip edge has rounded and now the lid won’t stay closed, is this an expensive repair?. FYI lid edge has no wear

    Dust covers are not exclusive to hunter cased watches, many other watches have them also.

    Hi
    I have a skeleton hunter pocket watch
    It opened in my pocket
    It may have sprained now it's not staying shut it just springs open
    Any help or advice many thanks
