Watching this in the Midwest where current humidity is 84% 😂. Don’t apologize for chores days or maintenance days! You are keeping it real and it’s an inspiration to us that we all have those days. Ps Thanks Brent for doing the espalier so Robbie didn’t have to have spiders in his hands.

When cleaning up and pruning, I bring my popup bag with me, then I don't have a mess to clean up at the end. Just put the trimmings straight into the bag.. I absolutely love my popup bag and use it almost everyday. (although my popup bag is not the expensive one you can buy on garden websites. Mine is a $10 popup clothes hamper from walmart that works just as good)

Hi Robbie, I have been using 'Nature's Good Guys' bugs for four years. I have great luck with them. I don't spray any insecticide in my garden, and we have beneficial insects thriving. The nematodes are a game changer. They take care of insects that live in the ground that attack your plants. I hope you have success as I have. Have a wonderful day.

Super excited to see how the bugs help. Also, the lavender! My goodness the smell is amazing. My neighbor came by yesterday and that was his first comment to my husband. He said now even the outside of our house smells amazing. Thank you Robbie!

You need to use your pop-up bags for the garden waste so you can clean up as you go and don’t handle the prunings twice

First off, let me just say, I ALWAYS love to hear the rooster crowing! My next door neighbor almost got one but was afraid we wouldn't like it, however someone up on the hill behind me has one and it makes me happy! Can I say I just love your artfully sculpted vine in your fence. At this moment I don't think I have the patience for it but it inspires me to paint one on my courtyard wall. Not too much maintenance goes with that!! Haha😅

So grateful for the info on beneficial insects. I live near a wooded area with lots of deer that pass through. They lleave their droppings in my yard and so each year, a big fly problem. I buy RESCUE traps, but they smell horrible and disposing of them is the most icky job. I had two Aralia 'Sun King' plants I loved. Something kept eating the leaves and I couldn't figure out which pest it was. I sprayed and sprayed, but nothing worked. I got rid of the plants. I think now I might try again with some beneficial insects to stand guard for me. Thank you!!

How about you build a little pocket on the side of that garden bed? This will keep your items handy but won't have something like the flower pot that can be knocked or blown over. I think a side pocket on your bed would look nice ❤

So satisfying to watch.💚 I like growing my tomatoes on a trellis I made with large bamboo stakes. I intense plant (larger harvest in less space). Yes I do prune back the bottom branches through out the season but just enough to give better air flow. Can’t wait to see the cages you plan on making. Love seeing different ideas and how other gardeners do things. Thanks

Lovely hydrangea🌟That poor topiary evergreen keeps falling wherever you place it ...The espalier looks great...you could visit Janey and help her with the twisting technique ... I'm all over the place because I'm commenting as I watch,,, anyway, the important thing is you always make me smile and you garden a lot like I do (mess piles )..don't forget the orange scissors on the brick pile ..they want to go in the pot! :)))))))
