The comparison with the crossbow is also unfair. If you compare the weapons with their respective best ammo then they don't have the same use. Shotbolt is the best CB ammo and the best ammo between both weapons but it reveals both what you have as a primary and where you shoot at. Bow's best ammo is the regular arrow which is stealthier and keeps the opponent guessing more about their gameplay.
I get why you might not understand this, but for a good player who isnt a human aimbot, the bow is actually easier to succeed with than a weak rifle IMO. As long as you play in the right range, any hit is devastating, whereas you need to hit headshots with something like a marathon, especially in 6star where everything is long ammo dolch or shotguns hiding in bushes not moving for 15 minutes. For someone like you, i can see why you wouldn't have that problem 😂
6 star lobbies aren't even that great anymore, I am a full 6 star mmr for myself and for the team and we constantly get paired with 6 star players that have .70 kds and are trash. It really use to be an achievement to hit 6 and now everyone and their dog are 6 stars. I tested it and it took me 12 games of being kill twice per game to even drop to a 5 then 1 game to get back to 6. Total garbage system.
Dude, when you drop it means u are slightly below 6 star now. When winning a game or two gets you enough points to climb the ladder again thats just the way it should work. Nothing special about that.

"Why not play slugs instead of bow" Well, slugs can kill in the torso up to 15.5 meters and bows can kill up to 37 meters (normal arrow). Just need to stop shooting the arms/legs Ratcha :D
I doubt you have more hrs or skill than Rachta. He knows the stats. Just because some weapon seems good on paper, doesent mean it IS good. You can re-peek a bow 3 times and not get punished. Try that against a Mosin and you die at the 2nd peek. If bow was strong, you would see it in high mmr. Rachta is good enough to make any weapon viable and many could do that too but most players dont bother giving themselves a disadvantage for content/fun.
@@mrmuffin3928 Don't get me wrong, Ratcha is better and he has more hours on hunt than me. Tho I might have more hours playing the bow. I think if he played it more, he would change his mind. His aim is godlike with any weapon but he keeps hitting the wrong body parts with the bow, making me think he would change his mind if he played it more!

Explosive bolts and frag arrows are way better, they can do what no other weapon besides the bomb lance/launcher can.

@lifeward21 shot bolt has an effective range of the throwing spear, you aren't going to hit any range shots against moving targets.
