1:39 Handel - Sarabande

3:53 Bach - Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude
4:13 Rameau - Les Sauvages
The Bach piece is also known as "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring"
Thank you!
Obrigado, thank yoy
I prefer Anitta.
We know it English as Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desire.
Glad to see the flutist again, he's really rocking it!
is it Flutist or Flautist? I've seen both and I can't even tell anymore
@@iggykidd I believe Flautist is the correct terminology
I think he blows... I see myself out
@@iggykidd it's either. Flute player if your normal, flutist if you're a little bougie, and flautist if you're full on pretentious twat.
@@creamwobbly fiddlers are only known in Ireland...
Kudos to the flautist for tackling Canon in D. I've done it on recorder, and being a violin piece originally, there is literally _nowhere_ you can take a breath through most of it.
👏 👏 👏 I come across this interesting channel by chance. Merci. From a fan of Baroque & RENAISSANCE. cheers
Absolutely can't get enough of the guest musicians...your collaborations are always awesome
I have this feeling that you guys together can make a commercially successful classical boyband
Pretty crazy that Greensleeves is 500+ yrs old... and Canon in D is 300+ yrs old... and they are still so commonly played
There is no end to good music!
It's incredible to think. I wonder what the life was like back then. Beautiful pieces.
A lot of pop music uses chord progressions based on Canon in D; Blues Traveler’s “Hook” is a sort of satirical commentary on that
Henry Vlll is credited for writing Greensleeves, commonly used as the ice cream truck song here, funny considering that Ole Henry was known for his gluttony and obesity
@@RobCamp-rmc_0 It has even been reused in the USSR - and now Russia - national anthem !
I apologize... When I first saw the title of the video, I thought it said, "10 Barbeque Pieces!" My eyes are tired. Enjoyed the music and the video. Thanks!
Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude / Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring has always been my favorite piece of classic music (actually part of a larger piece titled Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben), a beautiful rendition.
Спасибо, Лорд!
Нежный, светлый, уважительный дуэт. Нежная, светлая музыка, которую любят все.
Флейтист чудесный.
Счастья вам! 💖
Unbelievable, I had one tune in my head for ages and I clicked on this video to check whether it's included (because I guessed it was a baroque piece). And there it is, at nr 9. Thank you!
Canon in D was my fathers favorite piece of music and the whole reason I learned to play piano in the first place was to play it for him. Now 30 years later, I think of him and get emotional every time I hear it
The Pachebel Rant was one of the first viral videos I ever watched.
Have you heard the rock version?
@@eckligt yeah it’s not too bad
As a cellist... I flinched when Canon in D started. That is such an ingrained reaction for me at this point.
One of the best on the channel. I've watched all the episodes from the beginning, but this one somehow appealed to me so much. Greetings from Poland!
Thank you looney tunes for delighting me with such melodies
I love it when pianists stare deep into my soul when they play. Ty.
Magnificent painting of the Sun King in the background!!
2:45 - "This song was forgotten and remained in darkness for centuries. Now it has reemerged and become the bane of every cellist, forcing these poor musicians to carry the burden of the darkness in which it dwelt for so long."
Four seasons -SPRING is unreal music! I like it since 1723!👍🎵🎶❤️
8 days trying to find the title of one of these pieces. Plus you are funny AF and can make a girl smile with a Celene Deon meets the Clangers mash-up. Deadpan Legend!
you should make another top 10 most difficult piano pieces
I will do!
@@Lord_Vinheteiro Yes!
@@Lord_Vinheteiro Yeah
@@Lord_Vinheteiro rush E is #1
@@Lord_Vinheteiro Plz include La Campanella! As much as possible :)
Who is this mysterious gentleman that plays the flute so amazingly? To be able to fully appreciate his talent, please check it out under James Strauss, flautist in wikipedia..❤❤❤
The flutist is great! Vinheteiro never disappoints
I could have tried learning the flute but my asthma hindered me. This guy makes it so easy
Me too. I don't have the lung capacity (Restrictive Lung Disease) for woodwinds sadly. I always wanted to learn the flute and piccolo.
I wanted to learn the Sax but yeah having asthma sucks :(
I knew most of the songs by name, but that's because I went to school in Germany and we had music lessons with us and our teacher was very much into classical music, we studied Carl Maria von Weber's "Der Freischütz" op. 77 for a year , the longest school year of my life! (especially for me as a Metalhead) 😂
Beautiful. Best channel on You Tube!
Love these series so much!
I played all pieces except for the last one on the ukulele... I love them all.. OK greensleaves not so much.. But amazing that is so old..
I kind of surprised myself - I knew about half of these, although I got the composer wrong for the Minuet. And I called it the Bach prelude in C rather than Gounod's add on. I've been learning the prelude, so that one was easy. Very nice collection of pieces. Thank you.
i knew 7 out of 10, thats what you get from playing the french horn for 46 years, you tend to remeber loads of music you have played.
Omg, I've heard, I know the names. And I'm so thankful for this magic!
0:39 a dazzling one...✨❤️
Fun fact about Pachelbel's canon, the version that is really beautiful and "works" the most is not completely his. It is an arrangement from 1969 by the French musicologist and conductor Jean-François Paillard. The original is beautiful, but a bit flatter and less "satisfying"...
Jean-François Paillard, Pachelbel Canon in D major

Search YT for _Electric Dreams Duel_ for an 80's take. :-)
Pachelbel's Canon in D is one of my favorite piece of all time!
Foi tocada no meu casamento, na minha entrada.
He's smooth as silk blowing in that flute
LOVE LOVE LOVE the flute man!!!
Vivaldi 4 seasons was the first CD i ever bought. and now that i listen to it again, i think ill paly the cd for the good ol' memories
2:05 , i love this music
Se prodiga Vd. poco maestro. Un placer escucharle, como siempre....
Bach - Air on the G String reminds me of a movie "the spy who loved me".
grande Lord, espero ansioso par ao próximo podcast que tu for fazer, para fazer novos cortes.
Yep. The four seasons were instantly recognizable to me. Having played a viola for over a decade in an orchestra and symphony at times.
Germany ❤️🤝 many great piano artists 👍
🤩✌️YES!!! Good Work Lord Vinheteiro!🤩✌️
🤩✌️Congratulations!🤩✌️
1600-1750,Barocco music a gift of hundreds and hundreds italian compositors made all over the world, and all must be grateful, nothing against whit the germany, austria, france, music that have copied all from italy
Wow! My favourite baroque pieces! Very nice a comfy flute!
Отдельная благодарность за раннюю версию "зеленых рукавов"🙋♀️
The ornaments *chef's kiss*
Lord, faz um vídeo com os hinos mais bonitos das seleções q estão na copa do Qatar. Abração deus do piano.
Beautiful, thank you so much.
Fantastic video!!! A great collaboration!!! Congratulations!!!
Really enjoy listening to this performance. Bravo!👏👏
Saudades dessa época em que faziam músicas de verdade.
It was entertaining and instructive as always 👍 I guess that canon in d was rediscovered by the film industry for use in romantic films 😉
Does anyone know the name of the red piano instrument in the video? I've been trying to find the same sound that the red piano is producing across my internet travels. I was thinking I found out it when I heard the hurdy gurdy, but it wasn't it. Thanks in advance!
Thank you for Bringing your Flute Friend In a video again!
All we Need is The French Horn Player
Also Very Good Video sir!
Parabens,ficou muito lindo.
Wonderful.
Sarabande sounds a lot like that one song everyone remembers from Star Wars Episode 1. I think it's Duel of the Fates, but that might be the final battle music from episode 3...
I love Baroque music and these are some of my favorites!
Bravo! Respect!!!
Hope you make the flute player more involved in your videos
Bravo !!!👏🏽👏🏽 Playlist please !
Air on G String - Asuka's Final Battle
Didn't realize how old Greensleeves was! Definitely one of my favorite songs
Magnificent renditions!
oh boy, new video
That flute😎
Love your videos!! Can't wait for the next one!!
a very appreciable strong duo!
Now let’s have a whole orchestra playing why they are looking at the camera
Absolutely beautiful music.
The very moment I saw this video, I was curious why the harpsichord was used and not the piano. Then next I noticed the period these songs were composed. Referring back to the discourse that the piano was widely in use around 1750 or later, the songs presented were composed either before the piano was invented or became popular. So these songs were originally composed on a harpsichord. Am I right, I wonder?
배경이랑 너무 멋있네요
잘 들었습니다 ❤️🤍
I love ur house style please do a house tour
In Britain we have a radio station called Classic FM, and they have a rule that they must play Pachelbel's "Canon" at least 14 times per day. Never his "Trebuchet", never his "Cavalry Sabre". It MUST be his "Canon". Fourteen. Times. Every. Day. One wonders how on earth the sheep can graze safely.
Vinheterio, the man that lets the music do the speaking, and does not let you think, otherwise!
Bravo, Maestro!
what great tunes -the goes right in your sole
The legends are back!
Thanks 🙏
Sem sombra de dúvida, a fase mais bela da música clássica!
These two bearded gents deserve a pint or 5 for their wonderful performance.
Que match celestial! James Strauss novamente no canal + repertório barroco + (apropriadamente) esse cravo dos sonhos ❤️
🕰: “If it’s not Baroque, don’t fix it..”
Just beautiful!!!! Greetings from Leipzig 😉
The Four Seasons are the first 4 of 12 pieces in the work titled "The Contest Between Harmony and Invention."
Brilliant, thank you 💙👍🏾
They look into our souls.
Segue com melodias nostálgicas 👍👍👍
I lol'd when I said out loud, "Bach" and then you put on screen "This song is not by Bach" 😂
There’s an instrumental from the Beatles cartoon movie “Yellow Submarine” which sounds just like Air on the G String.
I feel like the harpsichord really should have matched the bass movement at the end of that melodic phrase, it’s part of what makes it iconic
I didn't only before playing "piano tiles" back in 2018 hahaha
I read the title as "10 Barbecue Pieces..." and thought that sounds interesting, gotta check it out :P
Uau! Esse cara manda muito no sopro.
Bravo Maestros !!!!! 👋👋👋👋👋🇦🇷
knew all names/composers just by listening but the last one Rameau - Les Sauvages had never heard it once in my 57 years so was clueless
First one is Four Seasons ~ Vivaldi
Mas qual estação?
@@alangknowles spring
First one is Summer by Vivaldi. I was listening to right now.
The best Vivaldi piece!
