Funny you say that... the following night the news reported a croc chased a fisherman at that exact spot. Pretty crazy. Probably not the smartest thing me getting in the water like that.
You can get little bait net things. I can remember my dad using one when I was a kid. They are like the size of a case of beer with small circle entry holes on each end. Just make sure to check your local rules and regulations. Cast net is the way to go if you’re allowed to throw one where you are.
Good Barra for rubbish creek but I sure as shit would have be eating crabs out of there Super high levels of PFAS , all the storm water run off from the uni and boat load of rubbish
