Alright , I can’t resist throwing in a few cents: I gathered from Ike’s offerings that Golden Dawn was/ is a middle path frame work. Orthodoxy is too Right Hand Dogmatic and Crowley trends towards the Left hand pathway. I suspect that the checkerboard of our craft points to the middle pillar and balance. Not disparaging anything here, I remember Somebody’s psychological take on this , I think Poke Runyon who said some people need a thelemic rebel vibe and others more the container ship of Golden Dawn …. Roll all that into a wooden nickel😉
