My mom, masi and one friend has 7th lord in 9th house. All of them married in their own cast from arranged marriage, that too in own city. Homes of their spouses are only 10-20 mins away.

7th lord in 7th planet Venus in Taurus alone and unaspected. Yes my standards are extremely high, no point for me to be in a relationship with someone I will constantly complain about so I feel being single is better than enduring a partner I don’t love. I have venus as my 7th lord in shravana in 3rd house hemmed between sun and mercury in 2nd and ketu in 4th. My moon is in 8th in punarvasu. You're 100% correct on the 3rd house interpretation. A few horrid karmic relationships since my 20s and all I desired was a relationship with the grounded spiritual energy of punarvasu and shravana. Needless to say, at 44 I've pretty much given up on the concept unless the divine wills otherwise and somehow magically a spiritual person appears....that's quite a low probability haha. You're also correct about the rahu/ketu axis effect. I have a ketu heavy chart with mercury in mula and rahu in magha. Past 40, the ketu effect got even stronger and a relationship is not even a factor in my life plans.

Overall, there is a heavy influence of 8th house and spiritual energies, which I believe matches the spiritual transformation comment made in the interpretation. Deeply spiritual elevated relationships are rare so I suspect that people with such energies will have a tougher time finding partners.
I heard that Venus in 5th = like a curse as gives unfulfilled expectations from partners and prone to change partners often. May here is the reason 🤔
