6.24 Velociraptor had the hitconfirm on the jab, but he realised he had no ex meter (only thing that links was on EX tatsu from lp) so he goes for a grab (which he completly miss time) which leads to a lost round. If he went for jab, jab, jab than finish with lk, he would have momochi stun with only 2 more hits after that. You can also question Velociraptor decision to go for lp in the first place (because crossover mk to lp is not a true blockstring) so why did he not chose to use std.mp /cr.fierce which would have given him the stun and the round and given him a big chance to take the game as well. This shows the differance between semi-pro and World class because momochi he was still ready and punished him big time for his mistake.
Laypeople don’t even realize that he’s doing them, what they are, or how difficult they are to consistently confirm into. Not just laypeople either but most professional match callers too. Ken doesn’t get credit for how highly technical he is at the top levels. Just look at this video’s first comment.
Literally one of the best gouken players Gouken was a shit character only good in one or two matches. He made gouken look possible on the pro lvl. Only if he would have played a top tir character.
@@maverick974 Nah, he played a shit tier character to get some recognition for low tiering. He didnt take a strong char because good people play strong characters and he had no chance against them.
That FA/DC shirt tho!
Momochi shoulda worn a Metallica shirt lol.

I love how he ends like 4 combos in a row with kara shoryu and they don't say anything about it lol

how does momochi get that sound profile for ken, like the OG sounds when he does haduken and shoryuken
Wdym? Those are his normal sounds in this game.

@@maverick974Far from it, unfortunately. I’d put players like Bullcat and Proudstrawberry way above him. But I respect his game
-said the sub 2000PP trash who'd get double perfected against even the worst low tier pros
