It's March 6th, 2024. The end of Rooster Teeth was announced this morning. While it's not a toyal surprise, it is still a sad moment. Let's be thankful for the good times we had.

Back to the beginning of this channel I was a wee lad when I was lucky enough to stumble across AH when they were still posting let’s plays on rooster teeth... in light of recent news I want more than ever to be taken back to this moment in time
For real, 22 now and been watching since I was 12 when they did a video on dayz so 10 whole years these internet people have probably been one of the most influential group of people in my lives it’s crazy going back
And so this is where the Let's Play channel began

Beck Carter no duh, but it was never really that popular till the MC letsplays and that’s when it became truly AH. Everything before was just basically half assed and random.

Anybody else here after the end of AH in 2023? They may be moving on but we will always have the memories. Thank you to Geoff, Jack, Michael, Ray, Gavin, Jeremy, Matt, Lindsay, Trevor, Mica, Fiona, Ky, BK, Joe, Fredo, and anyone I may have missed. You all provided countless hours of laughs and entertainment. Wishing you all nothing but the best in the future! Let's Stop!

God this is depressing. I miss these guys and the old intros. They really enjoyed gaming together back then. Had so much fun. These days it feels forced. These were the best of times.

@@TheAHuman I honestly don't even think they're comparable. Ray was hired be funny and happened to be good at games compared to the rest of AH. Alfredo is an actual professional gamer that plays dumb for the camera, because dumb is funny these days.

Batlikeman Geoff didn't create the channel. Geoff managed to aquire the channel (it was inactive) from UA-cam in 2009 which was still early and just before the Let's Play boom of youtube.

Look, am I the only one who didn't think Gears: Judgment was bad? I actually thought it was good( and yes, I DID in fact play the first three games in the series).
I love gears of war
If whatever is happening makes Jack laugh, it's usually good enough for me to laugh as well. Jack may not offer sarcastic humor, dumb commentary, screaming exclamations, or be 25% drunk at any moment but he bring a calm and comforting aura that let's us know that it's all in good fun. I like Jack and I can't stand seeing all this hate towards him by folks who don't fully realize what he brings to the table. Also run on sentence for the win!
I love how they talk about having a super high res video and then how long it would take a few weeks after Google Fiber announces they are coming to Austin.
I truthfully fond Gears of War Judgement to actually be pretty good. I don't care what anyone else thinks.

RepresentWV I guess it's just a matter of opinion. The concept was good though.
tronmaster5704 yeah the concept was pretty cool, but too much just didn't make sense... like they held a court hearing in the middle of the apocalypse basically and when they got attacked they'd just be like "uh back to the case" after it was done... it seemed like there were several plot holes and that got annoying for me.

After 4 years, I finally understand why Michael randomly unloads half his clip into the wall before going into a firefight. Too bad its in a multiplayer that doesn't have active reloading.
