Sony ICFJ40 vs Sony ICF19 - analogue tuned radios to give way for DSP radios

Does it mean analogue tuned radios have to move over for DSP radios to take their place? Seems so.
This is a FM reception sample at the same place by the two consumer radios L.Both Sony.. analogue is ICFJ40 on left and ICF19 on right. Both tuned to 89.1FM around 160kms away from Abu Dhabi. Both radios have the antenna folded. The analogue ICFJ40 just tunes it.The sound is distorted..ICF19 that is a DSP radio has no much distortion.
