Fresh Beat Band Circus Mojo Season II promo Written by Carla Banks-Waddles, directed by Henry Chan

Stumbled across this promos for a really fun season II episode of Fresh Beat Band. The cast had to really learn to fly silks and a few other fun circus tricks. Written by Carla Banks-Waddles (who was on staff for the Fresh Beat Band for season II has gone on to Executive Produce One Love and Good Girls) and directed by Henry Chan (who had directed tons of TV ranging from A Different World to Return of the Mac) who directed a bunch of Fresh Beat Band episodes. Joyce Kim Lee's costumes were particularly fun for this episode as everything had to work with the characters upside down.
(Fun trivia: Frances Manzo, an amazing dancer who did a bunch of the Fresh Beat Band episodes, including Circus Mojo, gave it all up to go to Harvard Law School. )
