My thought process for making this video was to not just find songs that have a cold winter feeling or festive vibe but instead of a feeling of warmth. It ended up being themed around Christmas jazz or Charlie Brown music' styled music. If you listen closely you can hear the snowstorm outside and the fireplace crackling along with the crackle of a record player to give it an extra nostalgic feel. As usual one thing that sets me apart from most music compilation channels is the fact that I like to transition songs into each other which ended up being being really fun with this one as it is based on jazz. The songs were a bit tough to find so I had to resort to more remixes and covers, The Consouls band dominates the playlist as they constantly nail that jazz bar vibe. Towards the end of the process I started running out of Nintendo songs with the same vibe so I had to throw in Sonic and Skullgirls which ended up being perfect fits. I hope everyone enjoyed my first year on UA-cam and will continue to listen since there's more to come. Thank you all, Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
I listened to all the songs. At one point, I was looking out the window checking for wind and I realized it was the track playing. 😂 I made up some words to Snowman. Very relaxing 🎵. Awesome work 👍
@@BraviaGames When I was a kid I loved listening to the Charlie Brown records on vinyl maybe that's why I liked it so much. It does remind me of my records.
@@monique9003 You're right, it does sound like Charlie Brown music. Funnily enough, I didn't realize it until I finished the selection! I just subconsciously equated that music to the feeling of warmth on a Christmas holiday. After further research I found that 30s-50s jazz and swing musicians covered and wrote a ton of the iconic Christmas music we hear today. So, it can be easy to associate the genre with Christmas music.
